So you can’t even offer 10 examples of jihadist rapists usurping the rights of our daughters?

Do you mean “You’re welcome”?

And what am I welcome to?
I can, but I am sure that you are as capable of reading the news as I am.
I am tired of playing that game. I just recently for example gave relevant research to someone who asked for it to support a conservative figure of 40 percent of Muslims who support sharia, and the Pew Research showed just how conservative that estimate was, with upwards to 100 support for it in some countries. Not only was the person who demanded the ‘examles’ in that case aware of the research, but continued to dismiss me for a figure of 40 percent.

It is a ludicrous game being played here. I am sure you understand well enough what was being discussed and providing ten examples would be wasting my time.

Other than that, when people say thanks, I try to respond with you’re welcome.🤷
That is just basic English to me.

Nope. You most certainly cannot.

I challenge you to do so.

10 examples of jihadist rapists who superceded the rights of our daughters, please.

And proof, of course, is required that they are jihadists.

Perhaps you should learn how to use the quote feature better, then, Darryl.

That way comments don’t appear in isolation, floating around without any context.

There are multiple threads here detailing how to do this if you’re still unfamiliar with the quoting feature.

Yup, and it’s no excuse to deny help to the 2500 innocent families (although I would say it’s more than 2500). In fact as Christians we are OBLIGED to help the 2500 families. Is there risk involved? Yes; it changes nothing.

You can make excuses and paint it any which way you want; ultimately if a particular person is in need and their need seems to be genuine, you are failing in your Christian duty by not helping them.
not making excuses, I am merely pointing out that there needs to be a way to vet the refugees before we have more ISIS types sneak in (disguised among the real ones)…and that would happen if we just open our borders and don’t secure them.

The wife in the San Bernardino attack lied on her papers. We need to be able to make sure there are no ISIS hiding among the real refugees. I don’t want to wake up one morning and find out a local priest was killed the same way as Father Jacques. Or even worse…that the Pope was killed!

This current administration has only let a small amount of Christian refugees come…if you point out that there aren’t that many…well, its because they are being KILLED by ISIS for refusing to CONVERT!

All that would have been needed to prevent that San Bernadino killer access to the immigration process would have been to read her Facebook page.
And even that amount of basic research was deemed to be too much, too much of an imposition on a jihadist’s liberty.

We already have enough leaders dismissing people’s legitimate concerns about the “Jayvee” team as being nonsensical. Poland would do well to reject the kind of leadership that pretends that the people’s real concerns for their safety and the safety of their daughters is selfish and un-Christ-like.

ISIS are killing Christians AND non-Sunni Muslims. Syria’s Christian population is about 13%. Stands to reason that at least 87% of refugees will be Muslim. It’s also possible that less Christians are willing to make the journey because of the dangers of being caught by ISIS on the way. It’s not like the UN are not relocating Christians from refugee camps because they are Christian.

I agree, vetting is important. But you can’t leave people to die while you vet them. Some members of ISIS will slip in, it’s inevitable. We need to be ready to swiftly deal with terrorists when they start plotting or attacking, but not at the expense of abandoning innocent families in awful refugee camps for years and years while each family is rigorously investigated.

I think if you were to ask the Pope (based on this thread’s title), he would rather take the risk of being killed than not let refugees into Europe.

If you are that worried about your daughters, you should be campaigning to make your local University a female-only institution. After all, sexual assault is rife on University campuses and we should not prioritise the rights of white male rapists over those of our daughters.

As the Talmud says, those who are kind to the cruel, end up being cruel to the kind.

At this point, that should be apparent enough to anyone who has the ears to hear and the eyes to see.

The "Death to America’ crowd never changes its tune in that regard.

Yea, the New York Times is just another example of YELLOW JOURNALISM!!!

Remember to say it loud enough and often enough, so that even a lie will pass as the truth.

But don’t for a minute pretend that you don’t know what is happening.

Those who are kind to the cruel, end up being cruel to the kind

Justice is a Christian value too, a human one even.

The great injustice of this situation would be to refuse innocent humans’ rights to asylum.
No.
The great injustice is for weak-kneed liberals too cowardly in the face of the political correctness that they oppose on everybody to ensure that immigration is carried out in such a way that there is proper vetting going on.

It is a vile and disgusting as anything. Feminism in particular has shown itself to be too cowardly and too politically compromised in order for it to effectively carry out the one mandate that it has been put in charge with.
Or in the words of the jihadi rapists as they carry out their molestations, “Thank you Angela Merkel !!!” :D:thumbsup:

Their thanks ought not stop with just her of course.

Rotherdam has been long forgotten.
A culture that would turn its back on Hirsi Ali is not a feminist culture. It a yellow culture.

You do realise that many people use the sexual abuse scandals as evidence that the Catholic church is evil and it’s teachings can be ignored? That “all priests” are abusers or cover up abuse?
And the way that we got from there was cowardly bishops covering up that there was a problem in the first place. Three contrite Hail Marys, and the priest was cured enough to be sent off to the next parish.

Mercy, mercy mercy…

Those who are kind to the cruel end up being cruel to the kind.

Every time.

I asked about the figure you cited because I did not see it in the source you provided. If you’d rather not explain, that’s fine. But I wasn’t playing “a game” as you intimated. I was genuinely searching for some basis for the figure you shared.

No.

I find this sort of rhetoric irritating.

Liberals are not cowardly for wanting to help people like these, nor are feminists:

How best to go about processing and helping these people is a learning process.

False, college is actually safer.
bjs.gov/index.cfm?ty=pbdetail&iid=5176

Besides, how do you know that those rapists are white or male? Do you have some sort of clairvoyance? If so, perhaps you should conduct the background checks for the “refugees”.
You are not; you are putting the rights of Muslims teenage girls and little children who are at serious risk of rape and murder first.
As we can see above, you are using one of the standard Feminist talking points about the rape culture chimera. One of the other standard talking points is that it is the rapist alone who is responsible for putting the rights of the victims at risk. Presumably that would include the Muslims, teenage girls, and little children that you mention above. So please be consistent within the bounds of your misandrist ideology and do not blame Darryl1958.
