  1. self determination. One can become whatever they want to work for in this country. Granted some people may face more obsticles but one can be whatever they want.
    2)freedom to believe religion wise whatever one wants.

The Constitution and Bill of Rights.
The fact we were founded as a nation on Judeo-Christian values.

Republicans.
Whitetail deer.
The Dukes of Hazzard.
Muscle cars.
Baseball.
Country music.
Rock and roll.
Blues.
Jazz.
Ragtime.
Thanksgiving.
Our armed forces.
4x4 Trucks.
The Mid-west.
Immigrants.
Indians.
Cowboys.
EWTN.
I’m sure I can think of more but I’ve got to go to mass.

  10. We can freely move about our country as we wish, for work
    or for entertainment.
  11. People are allowed to pursue any hobby or interest of their
    choice.
  12. This is not culture, but our different geographical areas
    are varied and beautiful, and we have all four seasons if
    we choose to experience them.
  13. We have modern conveniences available to us, and are
    able to have a comfortable life style.
  14. With hard work and a good idea anyone from anywhere
    is able to pursue their dreams. This might include getting
    an education or opening up their own business and
    partaking of the American Dream
  15. Exposure to people of all nations within our nation.
 
People that came to America were adventuresome and willing to work very hard. Some of that spirit remains alive. It is bought to us year after year with new immigrants.

We think that deep dish pizza started here. I am really not sure. I always heard it began at Uno’s downtown Chicago.
 
We have two wonderful beautiful countries that border us, Canada and Mexico. The people from both those countries are absolutely great. We can go an visit in either country just by checking in at the border. Many people from the US visit both frequently.

Matt25,I saw the Maryknoll voters guide:rolleyes: I have never seen such a smokescreen in my life.They skated over the non-negotiables like its nobody’s bussiness:eek: I would hardly call them a true Catholic source of orthodoxy.They also made a basketball court out of a sanctuary a few years back:eek: Social issues are important and we are all responsible to do our part,but I just can’t take them seriously.God Bless
 
We welcome people of all different ideas and conclusions. We don’t persecute people based on their ideology or religion. We allow criticism to allow every idea to get better.
 
We invite God to every public and most private ceremonies, even though it angers some. We keep our priorities straight.
 
There are just too many to list. Here’s an abreviated list:

1, My wife
2. My children
3. TEXAS!
4. Having Canada as a neighbor to the north
5. Being able to travel state to state any time for no reason
6. Being able to find a Catholic church most anywhere I go.
7. Did I mention my wife and children?
8, Having Mexico as a neighbor to the south.
9. New England, the mid west, the south, the northwest, the southwest, east coast, west coast…Is there anyplace that doesn’t have something great to offer?
10. The ability to be generous.
