I do not understand your point. As a man, the priest cannot judge her soul, he can only judge objective facts. The objective fact is, that as a practicing lesbian who has left the practice of her faith and is practicing Budhism, she is not properly disposed to receive Communion. What the apostles knew or did not know IS irrelevant. And you make my point. That priest, and YOU, are NOT Jesus, and therefore are not more righteous than HE. Sacrilege, (BTW with an “e”, not an “a”), has nothing to do with this woman’s immortal soul. The MAIN paramount concern in, and about communion, is participation in communion with the Lord, and the Body of Christ, and not about"giving scandal". Time and time again, Jesus showed us in the gospels, that “giving scandal”, was unimportant to Him.
Thank you for correcting my spelling. But sacrilege has a great deal to do with this woman’s soul. [BIBLEDRB]1 corinthians 11:29[/BIBLEDRB]
Exactly! For those who are properly disposed. The MAIN paramount concern in, and about communion, is participation in communion with the Lord, and the Body of Christ,
