Our Father who art in Heaven hallowed be Thy Name. May Thy Kingdom come and Thy Will ever be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary full of Grace, The Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, please pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father and to The Son and to the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be. Amen.

PRAYER TO ST. MONICA

Dear St. Monica,
troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant me that same fortitude, patience,
and trust in the Lord.
Intercede for me, dear St. Monica,
that God may favorably hear my plea for

(Mention your intention here.)

and grant me the grace to accept His Will in all things,
through Jesus Christ, our Lord,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever.

Amen.

St Monica, please hear the plea’s of all of us concerned family members. In this world of “everything is right…nothing is a sin” we are considered the bigotted ones. Please help us to swallow our pride and not argue with those that call us biggoted. Please help us to have the patience to continue our prayers for their conversions :crossrc: until the day we die.

Through the intercession of St. Monica, may God give our lapsed family members the grace of conversion and grant us the grace to persevere in prayer for them.

Through the intercession of St. Monica, may our fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and friends come to know the reality of our Lord and may they respond to His loving call. Amen

Hail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Praying for all fallen away Catholics that they come home to the Catholic Church.

Dear God,
Through the intercession of Saint Monica, grant our prayers that our fallen away family members, friends and loved ones will hear Your call and come back to the Church, where you are waiting to welcome them with open arms. :signofcross:

To St. Monica, Patroness of Mothers

Blessed Monica, mother of St. Augustine, we give thanks to our Father in heaven Who looked with mercy upon your tears over your wayward son. His conversion and heroic sanctification were the fruit of your prayers. Dear St. Monica, we now ask you to pray with us for all those sons and daughters that have wandered away from God, and to add your prayers to those of all mothers who are worried over their children. Pray also for us that, following your example, we may, in the company of our children, one day enjoy the eternal vision of our Father in heaven. Amen.

I have two boys and four girls who have fallen away from the Church. Please pray for them. I will remember those mentioned here and all who are separated from Jesus Christ and His Church. I remind myself that Jesus never leaves them and they are infinitely loved the way they are. If only they would open the door.

My Lord and Savior turn the heads of your lost sheep. Set their feet upon the only path to eternal joy, singing forever the praises of God in the Blessed Trinity.

St. Monica pray for us.

Our Father who art in heaven hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom the power and glory now and forever. Amen.

St Monica, pray for all of us on this thread and our families.
I would also like to add the “tempters” to this list. Many of our family members were led astray by other fallen away Catholics and in the case of one of my daughters…a fallen away priest . The excommunicated priest Matthew Fox has lured many of the Berkeley crowd to his new age style of paganism.

Dear St Monica, I do not know if your son Augustine was as far removed from Catholicism as Matthew Fox. Through your prayers you were able to help bring him back to Christ. Please ask God to bring pagan Fox back to his senses. May all of his followers also come back to Christ.

Right now, I’m reading an excellent book entitled Search and Rescue: How to Bring Your Family and Frinds into-or back into- the Catholic Church, by Patrick Madrid. I highly recommend the book to anyone who is seriously trying to evangelize family and friends. I’m only 3 chapters in, but so far, I’m very impressed.

St. Monica, intercede for us to bring our lost sheep back to the fold. Please take our prayers to Jesus, as you know how it is to have loved ones not in communion with our Father.
