Prayer for fallen away Catholic family Members

Please remember those close to me who have been lost.

I highly recommend the book to anyone who is seriously trying to evangelize family and friends. I’m only 3 chapters in, but so far, I’m very impressed.

I listened to Patrick Madrid on the net today. You can find his Rescue series by going to EWTN.com audio documents and type in Patrick Madrid.
He mentioned another saint to pray to …St Francis de Sales. I’m not sure of the spelling but I plan to check into his biography and maybe we can add him to our list of intercessors.

Not to forget…Blessed Mother Theresa. Beings as she crossed all faiths and non faith…she should be a good Prayer partner also.👍

Heavenly Father, please show all of our loved ones who have fallen away from the Catholic church the light that will enlighten their hearts and souls and come home to the truth.

I pray especially for my brother and his wife and family who have been away from the church for 22 years. Only his oldest has been baptized in the church, but none are members. I pray for those, who like my brother are wandering from church to church looking for the truth, that they will know the truth is what they left behind in their Catholic faith.

PRAYER TO ST. MONICA

Dear St. Monica,
troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant me that same fortitude, patience,
and trust in the Lord.
Intercede for me, dear St. Monica,
that God may favorably hear my plea for

I remind myself that Jesus never leaves them and they are infinitely loved the way they are. If only they would open the door.

St. Monica, St. Augustine, St. Francis of Assisi Pray for our fallen away family members. Especially my dear children. I see them all stuggling and trying to work things out in their own way. I don’t know what evil turned their head so completly.

I’m reading it right now. I’m really liking the book, and getting a lot out of it.

One of my daughters was home visiting for a family event and went to Mass with us. She said it was comforting and wondered if it was just because it was part of her childhood. I said that I thought the Lord probably meant it to be comforting, while secretly hoping her statement was not for effect, but a real reflection. Still praying for mine and for all.
