He said once Blessed Mother Teresa is after you, you better watch out! 🙂 Amen!
I love this…😃

For all those in my family who have left for other Christian faiths, although, having grown in their relationship with Jesus may they return home to have the fullness they are searching for.

Amen!

Jesus, I trust in You. May the Communion of Saints join in our prayer, that all our separated family members return to the Church which You have founded.

I am praying for all of our friends and family members. I hope we will all also serve as good examples to our family members who have left the Church.

Sincerely,

Maria1212

I am still attending daily mass and remembering all of our family members on this thread. It is so encouraging to hear that some of your family are returning to church. It hasn’t happened in my family yet but I will continue my persistence in prayer.
Please St Monica, help all of us on this thread to continue to pray for our fallen family members. Even if we should die before seeing any results, please give us the hope that our prayers will then be answered after our death.-

Dear St. Monica,
troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant me that same fortitude, patience,
and trust in the Lord.
Intercede for me, dear St. Monica,
that God may favorably hear my plea for
all asking for prayers for friends and family in this thread and my own family and friends, especially Marc and Derrick (plus my special intention for them)…
and grant me the grace to accept His Will in all things,
through Jesus Christ, our Lord,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever.

Amen

I ask for St. Monica’s prayers for my brother, his wife, and all of my family and friends who have left the Faith or are lukewarm in their Faith. I have prayed for them all for so long. I see some seeds taking root, but I feel so despairing at times. Please help me St. Monica to follow your example in prayer for my loved ones.

I just prayed the rosary for the reversion of our fallen away Catholic family members, and for the conversion of our friends and family. I will pray for everyone`s intentions at Mass tomorrow.

Sincerely,

Maria1212

To St. Monica, Patroness of Mothers

Blessed Monica, mother of St. Augustine, we give thanks to our Father in heaven Who looked with mercy upon your tears over your wayward son. His conversion and heroic sanctification were the fruit of your prayers. Dear St. Monica, we now ask you to pray with us for all those sons and daughters that have wandered away from God, and to add your prayers to those of all mothers who are worried over their children. Pray also for us that, following your example, we may, in the company of our children, one day enjoy the eternal vision of our Father in heaven. Amen.

Let us all support one another in prayer for those who have family members who have wandered from the faith.

Add your family to the list of those we shall pray for daily.

To all who remind me, almost daily, that we are all in union with prayers that our children, etc., will return to a Christian life.
Mine have not shown the results of these prayers yet. I have not given up and continue to pray to St. Monica for her intercession in this matter.
It’s been since August, and I’m sorry to say the divorce was final a week ago. This child of mine has ended that relationship on a hateful note. I don’t know who she is anymore. We have to ask where is that daughter whom we loved so much.
I am equally sorry to report that there has been no communication between her, another daughter, my husband and me. There is nothing I can think of to say to her that she will want to hear. She would like to see us; to pick up where we left off and go on as if nothing happened.
Seeing the depression developing in my husband is heartbreaking. We have asked for help from our pastor, and he encouraged us to pray and then go on with our lives. Since she is 43 years old, we don’t have any responsibility to counsel her. We wouldn’t know how to do this anyway. We don’t know where to go for further counseling. We seem stuck in this place…going on daily with our lives, but so very sad knowing she is living in sin and has abandoned her religion.
Thank you all for allowing me to ‘vent’. I just don’t know what to do next.
God bless you!
