Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
AMEN

Jim,

Hope you made it through the day today. Prayed for you a lot today. Thinking of you and your family and kind of know the struggles you are all going through. I unite my sufferings with yours and with our Dear Lord. Lord, have mercy.

Blessings,
Judi

Praise God! Due to your prayers and a new medication, I am doing much better. Still far into the woods, but much better. I could actually feel the prayers improving me today. Merciful and loving is our Lord. God bless all of you forever! Amen! Alleluia!

You continue to be in my prayers, Jim, along with your wonderful family. I know that God is with you.

Prayers sent to your father, God bless and I hope and pray your family can overcome all of this through Jesus Christ

praying for you and your family…

Glad to know you are feeling better. Praise the Lord

God bless you all for your prayers. I am only marginally ambulatory now, due to the chemo. It has caused such a profound rash and skin disorder than I have difficulty walking more than about 50 feet. I am slathering it with medication, but it rages on. I have noted some victory in the return of my former zeal to pray. During this affliction, my desire to pray had all but vanished, and I have confessed as much.

“Patience” is the word coming to me now. I must patiently bear this, and patiently wait for any return to a normal life. Since chemo’s effects are cumulative, the four treatments I have yet coming may be the real test, and what I write now may be just whining by comparison. So, with your continued prayers and my petitions to the Lord for strength, I will get through this.

Christ’s peace and blessings to all. Your prayers strengthen me.

Jim,
I am praying really hard that you get through this awful treatment and illness. I am amazed at how many people are so caring towards you. Truly, the Lord has blessed you and all of us at CAF with such steadfast prayer warriors. My prayers continue for you, Elsa, your daughter and son. Hang in there. All will be well.

Blessings,
Judi

Christ’s peace and blessings to you also Jim. Praying for you especially at this Sunday’s mass…

Jim,
I wish could express myself better than I can, but I will say that you are always in my prayers and I feel your pain. Together, we are on this journey to the Lord - together we will hold each other up in prayer, united to the Cross.

Blessings,
Judi (an inarticulate prayer warrior)

Your whole ordeal is a prayer. The grace you are recieving to get through this you’ll hunger for later. It builds slowly and when you look back on this, it will blow you away. Some folks call it waking up from “chemo fog”, but you will see it for what it is. Five years later and I still miss that peace. Make sure you are charting your meds to keep track of them. Continued prayers, Tim
