Keeping you in my daily rosary.
Good morning, Judi! I will have chemo on Tuesday, if I am found fit. We have an ecumenical Thanksgiving service at our parish Wednesday evening, and I am going if I am still alive! I must multiply the blessing of my cancer. Christ’s peace be with you today and always.Jim,
I’m sorry to hear that you will not recover in time for your next chemo. When is that treatment? Just wondering … Your faith is very strong and, once again, you have proven your immense trust in the Lord. I hope that Thanksgiving goes well with you and your family! Always praying for you!
Blessings,
Judi
Oh, I hope you’re wearing a mask tonight, Jim! Yep, I’m a nagger. The oncology nurse is speaking with my doctor today about delaying my chemo, as my body is showing too much damage from the last treatment, two weeks ago. A week delay, as well as a slight reduction in dosage, is hoped to allow me to function better. It now looks like I will definitely be able to attend the ecumenical THanksgiving service. That will be a blessing!
Jim, see you always amaze me with your faith. It really touches my heart.Praying for you, your wife and your familyDespite some pain and difficulty walking, I went and had my infusion Tuesday. However, it was only two of the three chemical agents, since the third one was causing all of the damage. I sometimes wonder if I will ever heal from this, but can only offer up any and all pain to my Lord, Who suffered so much more than I ever can.
Thank the Lord, I am well enough to go to the Thanksgiving ecumenical service at out parish this evening. I am going to wear my Nicene Creed shirt, for those who may have questions. I may also take a couple of copies of Rediscovering Catholicism, Matthew Kelly’s book that calls back those who have fallen away from the faith. Lord, help me to serve you this day! Amen!
Christ’s peace be with all as we give thanks for our manifold blessings.
