Jim…my dear wonderful friend. I am overjoyed at your news and praying that 2009 will keep you free from this dreadful cancer and you will continue to be a role model to us all. May God Bless you with many many years to come…I’m praying for you daily and especially for excellent results on the next Pet scan.
Know you are loved.
Diane

Jim, I have sort of hid myself in the last recent weeks, but I am so happy to hear you are doing better…You can do it…sounds like you have a lot of “angels” on your side, and by this I mean the wonderful people on this website.

I pray for you on this day, January 2, 2009 that your health will improve and you will get stronger.
Blessings, Renata

Still praying. Will remember you all in prayer at a Divine Mercy Celebration this coming Sunday. My Cenacle celebrates Divine Mercy on the 1st Sunday of every quarter.

Continuing to keep you in my prayers! Thank you for being such an inspiration to all of us. May the Lord bless you in 2009!

My appetite is returning, as is normal between chemo sessions, as my body attempts to rebuild itself from the damage. However, this time, there is no chemo to strike me down once again! I still have swelling in my calves/ankles, stiffness in my legs, a limited desire for various foods and drinks, and am losing may nails, but all is a blessing. My hair is returning and there just might be light at the end of the tunnel.

It has been quite a journey and is not over just yet. However, the Lord is (again) teaching me patience and to LISTEN to Him. May He forgive me for my inattention to His Divine Word during this time of testing! Docility to the Spirit is what I should be seeking. Better late than never, and the merciful Lord reveals His love through it all.

The fact that I am here to see 2009 I credit to your fervent prayers. The strength for the journey I credit to Him. God bless you all with treasure in Heaven. Amen! Alleluia!

God has blessed you abundantly, Jim. In fact, God has blessed us with your presence. We are all praying for you. I especially keep you in my prayers all the day long. Diane

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee. Blessed art Thou among women and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Jim, I just wanted you to know that you continue to be in my prayers.

Jim, thank you for your update…I just read it because I went out of time for some time before and after new year. You are always in my prayer

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee. Blessed art Thou among women and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Jim…praying for you in my every prayer. You reach out so much to others and I thank you for your reaching out to me. May God send the gift of miraculous healing to you and may St. Jude intervene on your behalf …Stay strong, my dear friend, and know you are loved by so so many…Keeping you in prayer. Diane

Christ’s peace, everyone! Per my appointment yesterday, my blood counts have returned to normal. I can begin discontinuing the oral medications and will be completely off of them as of January 23rd. My scan has been moved to the first week of February, so that all cellular inflammation has subsided and a clearer view can be had.

Doctor was amazed at how well I went through the most aggressive part of the chemo. He congratulated me, telling me that the hard part was behind me now. If the treatment had been ineffective, I would likely have been gone by November, he said. I am trying hard not to be arrogant or presumptuous, but it appears that I am cancer free. We will know after the scan next month.

My job now is to allow my body to rebuild itself so that normal functioning is restored. I must ease into an exercise program to regain the strength and flexibility that I lost through the times of inactivity.

Why mention all of this? None of this was my doing. I credit it to the Lord. However, He had reminders throughout each day! He heard all of your prayers, from the first to the last, from the most brief to the most lengthy. He heard each Rosary and mass intention. He heard the Lord’s prayers and every Hail, Mary. Every word he focused on, reading every heart.

Your constant petitions were like those of the widow pleading for justice before the judge. However, in this case, it was the JUST Judge Who heard them all and revealed His mercy and compassion. He blessed me with the strength to endure. He blessed me with that for which I did not ask: healing.

May God bless each and every one of you - now and forever. Amen! Alleluia!

O.K., Jim, you’ve got me bawling my eyes out! The Lord has served ALL OF US well! Praise be to God. I am so happy things are looking up for you. Please tell you family how happy I am for all of them all. My prayers will continue for you and your family!

Christ’s Blessings to you and yours,
Judi
