Mom of one:
It looks as if I will be ok—I won’t be losing my apartment.

But If you would pray for me as some things in my life HAVE to change and I don’t know how to do this. It seems as if things MUST get incredibly bad in order for me to change and that makes me feel stupid----like a little nudge won’t do it.

Praying for everyone on these threads.

Please pray for my mum, who is struggling with several differerent illnesses at the moment.

Guys, I’ve posted this next one elsewhere, but any extra prayers would be appreciated - I’m having trouble completing my university work. I have about five days to get my act together, but energy and focus have been low 😦

These are the last two assignments I need to do to graduate, so please pray with me for strength to run the race as St Paul says.

Up-date on my BIL John:

Everything and anything that could go wrong is happening to him in his mysterious illness. The doctors can’t seem to find the source of his back pain and have taken every conceivable test on him w/ the exception on one more which was scheduled for yesterday and it didn’t happen…hopefully today…
He loves the Lord so very much and has “deepened” his Catholic faith in such a new and beautiful way in the past few years… God’s will be done…
(He knows we are praying for him and is depending on our prayers.)

Up-date on BIL…Went to visit him today…I felt as though I were in the presence of The Lord he is so peaceful! They last test has yet to be done on him… 😦 He thanks you all for the prayers…he can feel them…😃 Please don’t give up!
I experienced first hand the love all the nurses and the hospital staff have for him… Some of the nurses pray w/ him in the evenings…(this is not a Catholic nor Christian hospital) They all hugged me too! Something amazing is going on in that hospital room…😉
BTW, we got lost trying to get there and even went to a hospital by the same name which was closed! We also walked a 1/2 mile to the hospital when we found it! My first husband was a patient there during his battle w/ cancer…I should have known how to get there… As I said before in a previous post things just go wrong…:confused: 😉
 
I am going through a rough time with university right now, and there is a possibility that I my graduation will be delayed due to one course. I ask for your prayers so that I am given the opportunity to finish that course and so God may lead me to path which He has chosen for me. I am in much need of your prayers and I would really appreciate them. Thank you!

Monsi, I am in a similar position except that I have two courses left to complete rather than just one - as you may have seen in my post. I’ll certainly pray for you.
 
My friend is experiencing a “burden of prayer” heavily for a person named Art. Please pray that God heals Art’s feet which give him enormous pain.

And please pray for me too that God may heal me from my latest little lump. I have received the anointing of the sick already from my priest.

My husband is an ob, his patient is bleeding from a placenta previa. The baby is alive and well, but mom is in great danger. Please pray for her and his care of her.

Praying to Our Lady and St Gerard Majella for the safety of the mother and for the work your husband is doing in treating mother and child
 
It must be reminded here that ALL intentions are named and prayed for in the rosary thread for CAF members.

I would like to also mention that anyone who is seriously feel called to the priesthood or consecrated life, that will be mentioned in the perpetual prayer for priests/seminarians/consecrated life.

Thank you Lord so much for the communion of Saints!

The patient has stopped bleeding. She is not out of the woods, but he thinks she will live. Thanks be to God!! Thank you Jesus for answered prayers.
 
I have prayed for each person ghere, & will continue to do so.
I want to thank all those who have prayed for me. God bless all here.

PLEASE pray for his safekeeping. He is an Infantry soldier going to Raweh. Please pray for his safety and also to open his heart to God. He made it very plain to me that he has no religious beliefs, but he went to Mass with us yesterday and is going to wear the St. Michael medal I gave him and carry the rosary I made him. He is my youngest son…my baby boy. My heart is breaking right now because last year I was going thru a very ugly divorce and his father told him all sorts of lies and he would hardly speak to me. Since he has been home on leave he has seen that everything his father said were lies…and things are wonderful between us.
Please continue to pray for me as well. I am not handling his leaving well and can only guess at the anguish that Mary went thru as she KNEW what was going to happen to HER Son…and anything happening to mine is just a possibility. I am newly reverted/converted to Catholicism and am learning something every day. This day, I need help in learning how to put it in God’s hands and trust in His goodness and His protection for my child…who is now a man.

Please, pray for my friend Cody. He just found out, while we were in Iraq, his wife cheated on him. Not only that, but the man she cheated with got her pregnant, and then three weeks later she had an abortion. He is having a very hard time right now. Please also pray for her, Michelle, and the child.

Please pray for a young friend of mine. She is in the process of getting hers & her children’s things together, to leave an abusive husband…
Yesterday he was talking about how it would be better if they were all dead. He suffers from depression & refuses to take any meds for it…She wants to get to her sister’s house. His brother is coming to talk with him when he gets out of work, to distract him as long as possible.
He has been very violent in the past.
