Annunciata:
Prayers for my baby grandson who has a bad cold and on the way to the doctor’s now.
Update: DGS had 2 acute ear infections and is doing fine now.
Thanks to all for your prayers…🙂

I finally got the courage to tell dh that I’m pregnant. He was so upset and angry, but like the man of integrity he is, he came to terms with it and accepted it.

Now, I’m bleeding. So, I am probably losing the baby. I can’t stop crying. I wish now we had told the kids. I’m so sad. My heart is breaking. It hurts that dh is relieved–though, I know he can’t control his emotions.

Pray for me that I will praise God in all his gifts no matter how long I have them.

You have my prayers!

I have read all the recent posts. I will be going to Rome tomorrow and seeing the Pope in a general audience on Wed. I will add all of your prayers to mine when I visit this holy city. I know many of your intentions from reading multilple threads and I will check this site right before I go to the airport on Monday. May God show you all His love and answer your prayers. God Bless!

I am adding my intention for your prayers. My daughter is retuning home from her second deployment to the Middle East. I pray that she flies safely and makes good decisions in flight. She is so close to coming home and I want our Lord and our Blessed Mother to continue to keep her safe. Thank your for your prayers in advance.

I’m praying for you too, and for your husband as well.

For my dear friend, Phyllis…Phyl has been fighting cancer for several years now. All seemed to be going well until her latest tests. The results of the liver scan were bad, & she will be having a liver biopsy on this Thursday.
Phyl has been such a loving support to me since my mother’s death a few years ago. She is one of the most caring people I know. Her one great wish has been that she can live long enough to take care of her husband, who has early stage Alzheimer’s, in their own home.

Thank you all so much. You are all in my prayers.

I received news from a co-worker today that his wife is dying. She has been ill for sometime now, but has taken a serious turn for the worse. She is Catholic but has not been practicing her faith for quite awhile.

Her name is Margo and she needs our prayers. Please include her in your prayer petitions for the dying. This is an opportunity to make an eternal impact on a soul in need.

Thank you all,

Pax

Praying for you.

Please guys pray for my mother, who may need surgery soon but also has some heart problems which may complicate things.

LilyM,

My prayers go out for your mother and for all of the intentions on this thread. May God’s blessings of peace, mercy, and healing be granted to one and all.

Please pray for our 5 week old pre-born baby. I have had two miscarrages in the last 18 months and I pray that God will allow me to carry this baby to term, deliver a healthy child, whom we will raise for the Kingdom of Heaven so he can evangilize the world to God. I will except God’s will for all of us but oh how I want to cradle this little one in my arms!

Good ish news from mum tonight - she’ll be able to go ahead with the surgery which she really needs, and she’ll do it in a big city hospital so that if anything goes wrong with her heart (which is a slim chance) they’ll have the specialists there for her.

She’s getting it done in two weeks time - keep up the prayers (and many thanks!)

I thought that I would let you guys know that I am having some health problems. I have been not feeling well for months with constant illness and chronic fatigue. Well, I finally dragged myself to the doctor last week and on Tuesday I had a follow-up with the doctor. It turns out that there is a problem with my liver. What exactly the problem is cannot be determined yet. The two named possibilities are “fatty liver” or Hepatitis B. However, my lifestyle does not seem to suggest either of these problems. The third possibility could be much more serious in the form of cancer or some other serious liver disorder. We are not jumping to conclusions yet so we are taking things one step at a time. Hopefully the last test results were an anomaly and it is nothing however if it is not then we will go from there. I will keep you guys posted on any further developments.

update on my prayer request for surgery:

I finally have a date set, Feb. 28, but the doctor is having problems with the insurance company. Please pray that this will be resolved so I will not have to postpone it and I can have relief soon.

Thank you all for your prayers and God bless. :gopray:

As many of us are aware, here in Australia our politicians been debating about whether the abortion drug RU486 should be permitted. The debate centres presently on our Health Minister, a devout Catholic, who currently has power to approve it but has (thank God) stuck to his guns and refused.

Our parliament is trying to introduce a law to take this approval power away from the Health Minister and transfer it to our TGA (the equivalent of the FDA in the United States), which would most likely approve RU486. The final vote on this law is due to take place in the next half a day or so.

Please pray that it does not succeed - there are more than enough methods of abortion available to those Australians who misguidedly want to abort without adding another.

God Bless, Lily

From the thread Please say a prayer for this woman who has 3 children and is dying

Jocelyn:
A young woman I know is dying of a brain tumor. She has 3 children under the age of 9. She can opt for surgery, but this may leave her motor skills impaired and may not increase the longevity of her life. The doctors are giving her 2 years.

I think and pray for this woman often. I have never met her, but I feel for her and her family. This woman needs prayer. Please, when you read this post can you offer up a prayer for her and her children. This family needs strength!!

Thanks!!
Jocelyn
