continued prayers for maggieodae and all that she is going through and for Scotts son who is in hospital…

Please pray for me. I have some major changes to make in my life, and I don’t know how to go about doing so. Pray for wisdom from God for me, and the grace to do what He leads me to do.

Here is an email I just got from a lady at my Church. Please pray for this baby and it’s family.

Hello! I have a prayer request that urgently needs your attention. Please feel free to put this request on any other prayer chains or forward this message to anyone you know would add this to their prayers.

As many of you know I have a home daycare. Today I got a call from one of my parents that her little boy, Rex (20 months) had ingested some lamp oil. Her mother-in-law was watching him at the time. They thought they had the house all “kid-proofed”, but he got into a cabinet and found the oil. She had forgotten about this oil…has been there for years and years. She heard him throw the bottle and cough and immediately picked him up along with the bottle and heading to the ER. By the time they got there, he was turning a little blue. He is now in very critical condition and is hooked up with a ventilator, heavily sedated, and has lots of other tubes. They know there is severe damage to his lungs already, but they say the most critical hours are from 48 to 72 hours. They have a long way to wait ahead of them. Russ and I went to see him tonight and it was so hard to see that little, curly haired boy lying there. He was one of my first daycare kids, had him when he was still crawling. My family loves him as our own. Please keep Rex and his family in your prayers. Pray that God’s will be done and that he holds each of them in his tender loving hands. I will do my best to keep you updated if you wish. But if you don’t hear from me and are wondering, please feel free to email.

Thank you and Happy New Year to all!

In His name,

hi everyone! I’m kinda new to the internet prayer chain thing but here goes. I know you guys are good people and will pray for/with me.

If you look at my profile you can tell what I do for a living. I’ve worked all weekend on night shift for the new Years and it’s been tough. I ‘m finding my patience is wearing thin right now and I need God to just give me a reality check. I look at some of the things I see in work and wonder how it ever got this far! I cant’ go into much detail because of legal aspects but I’m really getting frustrated with people here and feel like I’m going to lose my temper.

Brothers and Sisters pray that God will see me through , and give me patience and love. I have so many thoughts right now I cant put them into words and I feel like crying my eyes out over the evil of the world that I see. not very manly behavior I know , but i dont care right now. anyway God knows my needs and I just ask you to pray with me. Thanks you guys.

The later part of my DH’s law enforcement career was as a sergeant…usually that means seniority…picking the holidays you don’t want to work. Give yourself a break and take those days off if they usually cause that much stress. Let the younger guys do it next time.

I’ll keep you in my prayers…consider taking some time off from work now…relax and destress.

For my children. Especially for my youngest son who has taken his fathers death very hard. His Baptist Uncle is interfering by trying to convert him. Help! My patience are short right now. I love my brother-in-law but I will not brook his interference.

Please brothers and sisters, pray for my girlfriend Hannah.

She is a Protestant, and tonight we spoke about the Catholic Church again.

Please pray that the Holy Spirit will show her the truth, so that she can come home.

Adam

For the trapped WV miners and their familes…
I pray for all on this thread regularly, but this granddaughter of a WV miner (long at home with our Lord) has been praying so much for these folks…My heart aches for the families who are feeling so helpless…:gopray2: :gopray2: :gopray2: :gopray2:

I have prayed and will continue to keep these miners and their families in my prayer. My heart is with them also.

I would like to ask for prayer for myself as well. I suffered with severe pain in the bottom of my left lung over Christmas and eventually went to hospital… X-Rays have shown abnormalities in that lung and this Friday I will have a C-Scan.

Thank You,
God Bless,
Shalom,

Catherine

12 of the 13 WV miners are alive. Praise God

Of course I feel sad for the miner who didn’t make it. May he Rest in Peace. May his family be comforted…in their grief…

For Jon, who is struggling to live as a Christian right now.

For my friend, who I may have hurt because I was stupid.

For my mother, because she has a lot to deal with with me.

For myself, that I am able to live a little better each day.

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ:

I am a new member here. It is by no accident I that I came about this website. I humbly ask for your prayers as my life has been in a tailspin for months now. We are in deep financial bind. I believe in miracles and that God will not forsake me. I know He will send the Spirit to guide me to the road I need to take.

I am praying for others who may be in the same predicament as I am but we will have strength in numbers if we storm the heavens with prayers. I am certain that your prayers will be my source of encouragement to proceed with my life despite the trials and difficulties. I am a battered lot. No clear sense of direction. Desperation envelops me.

Thank you all and may God bless you always.

Unfortunately, the news media was mistaken in this belief. At this time, it is not clear where the miscommunication occurred. They believe someone–they do not know who–overheard the rescue crew, which was transmitting through a speakerphone, say something to the effect that they had found 12 people, that there were 12 people there, etc. This was somehow understood and transmitted to the families, workers, and media as “they are alive.”

One man–the 27-year-old Randal McCloy, Jr.–was found alive and transferred in critical condition, in and out of consciousness. Our prayers go out for his mental and physical health, as well as in thanksgiving with his family in their time of hope. We share the grief of the 12 families who did not receive the miracle they were hoping for, we pray that the Holy Spirit console them during this devastating time, and we ask the Lord to grant those miners into His eternal glory.
