I would like to ask for prayer for myself as well. I suffered with severe pain in the bottom of my left lung over Christmas and eventually went to hospital… X-Rays have shown abnormalities in that lung and this Friday I will have a C-Scan.

I am a new member here. It is by no accident I that I came about this website. I humbly ask for your prayers as my life has been in a tailspin for months now. We are in deep financial bind. I believe in miracles and that God will not forsake me. I know He will send the Spirit to guide me to the road I need to take.

I am praying for others who may be in the same predicament as I am but we will have strength in numbers if we storm the heavens with prayers. I am certain that your prayers will be my source of encouragement to proceed with my life despite the trials and difficulties. I am a battered lot. No clear sense of direction. Desperation envelops me.

Unfortunately, the news media was mistaken in this belief. At this time, it is not clear where the miscommunication occurred. They believe someone–they do not know who–overheard the rescue crew, which was transmitting through a speakerphone, say something to the effect that they had found 12 people, that there were 12 people there, etc. This was somehow understood and transmitted to the families, workers, and media as “they are alive.”

One man–the 27-year-old Randal McCloy, Jr.–was found alive and transferred in critical condition, in and out of consciousness. Our prayers go out for his mental and physical health, as well as in thanksgiving with his family in their time of hope. We share the grief of the 12 families who did not receive the miracle they were hoping for, we pray that the Holy Spirit console them during this devastating time, and we ask the Lord to grant those miners into His eternal glory.

Please pray for Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon he suffered a posible brain hemorage.
 
Please pray that I will be able to get through this “ending” of my marriage. That God gives me the strength, patience and ability to get through this in one piece for my children’s sake. That He gives me the wisdom to make the right choices for my family, thank you.
 
Please pray for Namid’s sister in law, she found a lump and is bleeding from the breast and would like to add her name.
 
I have been ill this past week, so I have not checked this prayer thread. However, I did manage to say some fevered prayers for the intentions of those on this line even though I did not read the petitions. Know that my prayers are with you all especially the members of the minors families

Thank you very much for your kind sentiments, but I’m not really a genius or anything. I suppose I just wrote my prayer requests in the simplest way I knew how, without trying.

Some new requests: please pray for all the seniors I know, as they’re finding out which colleges have accepted them, and deciding. And for the rest of us who are already anticipating missing them when they go to college.

Also, I am praying for these requests.
 
Please pray that my disability application for social security gets approved and we can keep our house…I will pray for all the intentions on this thread. Thanks and God bless.
 
Please don’t think this is frivolous. We had to put one of our little dogs to sleep yesterday. After 17 years of her sweet affectionate presence, we’re finding it hard to get over this. I know time will help, but for now, please add us to the list of people neding prayers. Thanks.
 
My prayers are for all those on this thread. Please pray for the mother of one of my co-workers who is suffering with cancer. Please also pray for a young couple whose wedding I attended yesterday, they are a very God-fearing young couple.
 
Please pray that the abdominal pain I’m currently having gets better by tomorrow so that I can go to work. My job has been so great and flexible with all my medical issues I just hate to call off work again.

I am saying prayers for all the requests I read today. I ask for you to remember my daughter that is a pilot in the Navy and is on deployment now in the Middle East. I ask for her continued careful flying and good judgement in all her efforts. She will be home in two months now and I am counting the days. Thank you one and all for you are the best prayer warriors around. When I listen to the news I get derailed so I come here instead to get prayers…Thanks.
