For my sister, Peg. She suffered a heart attack during the night. Surgery this am at 10:00 am CST.

Especially for my sisters faith. She has none. She does not believe in God! šŸ˜¦

Just got the call. The first surgery was short and quickā€¦they closed and transported her across the state to a big heart Insitute. She should be arriving about now and they will do extensive heart surgery asap!

Over 90% blockage. :eek:
 
I am praying for all that posted for jobs, health, time off work to be part of prolife movement, serious tests, sick relatives, and all that I may not have mentioned. I will say a rosary to seek help and intercession through our wonderful Blessed Mother. I am going to Rome in a few weeks and I will pray in many wonderful churches for all these intentions.

Please pray the my daughters last few weeks in the Middle East (pilot on the Navy) are safe and that she will return home to begin her life anew.

Pray for Jill Carroll, the young hostage. Pray for her parents as they face some horrible hours not knowing if she is safe or even alive. Pray that God is with her now as she must be so very scared. She is just my daughterā€™s age and she knowingly went over to a country that is experiencing so much turmoil. Her heart was for people, and may God spare her for her life is really so very young still.
 
Urgent prayers are needed for my Brother-in-Law John who has been hospitalized for weeks now due to a back injuryā€¦Things are not looking very goodā€¦the doctors are starting to look at it possibly being cancer of the spineā€¦ All test so far are negative. He is horrible pain as wellā€¦under heavy pain killers most of the time.
 
I am praying for all those on this thread. I invite you to join me in prayers of thanksgiving. I have finally found a permanent full-time job.
 
Praying for all intentions.

My sisterā€™s surgery was put off until this mroning. 90% blockage was discovered so they transported her to a large Heart Institute across the state from where she lives. Surgery was started at 7:00 am I think. No further word since last night.
 
She is in recovery now. They did 4 by passes and her heart is strong. Should be fine.

Thanks for all the prayers for her.

For my dear friend, a non-religious Jew. Her lack of knowledge about any religion is appalling. I donā€™t know how anyone can grow up and have knowledge about anything God related except the highr power she heard about in AA. Sheā€™s sober 17 years, yet her life has always been a struggle, from childhood. She has courageously fought through all kinds of adversity, yet happiness eludes her.For 2-3 years things have been getting steadily worse, healthwise, financially and personally. Over the past two weeks she has been hard hit by a couple of things and is despondent. She needs prayer. She needs to know Jesus and Mary. So far she only knows Little Flower. Plese remember her in your prayers. Ironically, her name is Faith. Please ask that she find some, and find some happiness in this life, as well as the next.
 
I am going to Mass soon. I will offer both prayers of thanksgiving (for MaggieOā€™s sister and all others whoā€™s prayers have been answered this week) And prayers of petition (especially for those who are struggling with, health, employment, and faith issues.)
 
MomofOne will be going to the neurologist tomorrow keep her in your prayers and also Zooey because shes Zooey:) Pray that MomofOne has a good outcome.God Bless all of you.
 
For a brother seminarianā€™s younger brother, Mark, who got in a critical car acciden the other day, sustaining serious head and spine injuriesā€¦that the Lord God send healing to his body and comfort to his family, please pray
 
Please pray for my spiritual director as he believes he is being called into starting a new group of lay people called 'Society of Intercession and Adoration under the Portection of the Mother of God. He has been on a leave of absence for a year now. He is dedicated in doing Godā€™s will and bringing people to holiness.
 
I ask for your prayers for me as I search for new job that will allow me to stop burning the candle at both ends. Currently I work 2 jobs (will be 3 with tax season starting) and do not have near enough time for my wife and 3 small children. I want to be a better father and ā€œhead of the householdā€ and need all the prayers that I can get. I feel as if I am failing my family.

Thanks to all for your prayers. My friend is still in need of prayer, but seems to be somewhat better. When I aksked my saint of a pastor for prayers for her he asked whether she would like to speak with him. I thought definitely no, as she is not religious and Jewish. But when I mentioned the offer to her she jumped at the chance and the next day had a long, helpful chat with him. For the first time, she seems to be seeing light instead of blackness. My pastor always says that we should try to bring someone along to heaven with us, not to go alone. Sheā€™s one person I plan on dragging along, so it meant a great deal to me that she spoke to a preist about life, prayer, hope and Godā€™s love. He is praying particularly to Mother Theresa for my friend, so if any of you have a devotion to her, please remember my friend to her.
Thanks so much. There is no power on Earth like the power of prayer.

Goodmorning to all! I am from Ontario, Canada and I am new to this website. I do have a prayer request. I came across your site by searching the web and Iā€™m glad I did. We know of a wee lad 7 years of age who is in The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario. He has Secondary Cancer. This little boy has been giving cancer his best fight but now he has a bacterial infection from his IV line and is in Intensive Care with Pneumonia. We visited Connor last weekend and he had a fever that didnā€™t register on the thermometer. He is so weary. As you can imagine, this breaks our hearts. He has a younger brother and sister and his 5 year old sister is blaming herself because her bone marrow transplant didnā€™t work the first time. PLEASE ASSIST US IN PRAYING FOR CONNOR. He is so special and such a wonderful young lad.

I must make a correction though, it is not my son but our youngest daughters fiances 2nd cousin. This poor wee lad is a true fighter and he is exhausted. What is your sisterā€™s name Toni and I can include it in my prayers.

Please pray some friends of ours from church. The husband is in the hospital with a serious heart condition. Please pray for him and for strength for his wife. They are such wonderful people, itā€™s hard to see this happen.
 
For Lexee15, who just found out that her unborn baby has a serious condition.

Pray for peace for her and for healing for the baby.
