I Just received this in an e-mail.
Please don’t let this young promising man die!

A fine young man who is a senior at St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio, and accepted at Notre Dame for the
fall, has just found out he has cancer. What they thought within this last week was a benign tumor on his tibia proved to be cancer when they opened him up in surgery.
Although all of this cancer has not presented itself in the usual ways, they believe that tumor to be osteosarcoma, which means it is not the primary site. They have now found out he has spots on his lungs and believe he has lung cancer and a 25% survival rate. He is to be operated on tomorrow and then will be told of the severity of his condition.
The family is literally praying for a miracle. This is one of those tough times when we want to keep asking “why?”, but instead must put all of our energy into positive prayer for this young man. PLEASE join me in prayer for Kevin God bless you.

O Dear Saint Giles, please look upon God’s servant Kevin and interceed in his behalf. Holy Saint Giles, obtain for him healing of his cancer. Pray for God’s blessings on Kevin and on his family in Jesus’s name. Amen.

Oh great Saint Peregrine, you who have been called “The Mighty” and “The Wonder-Worker” because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of these sick persons whom we entrust to you.

Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.

O Holy Saint Ezekiel Moreno, pray for the healing of Kevin’s cancer. Grant through your intercession with Christ Jesus healing for this young man and his family. Amen.

Please pray for Al A., he’s the father of one of my co-workers and has been diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer and he also has a aneurysm. Also pray for Sandy, who has just found out she has cancer all through her body. Thank you very much.

Thank you for your prayers. DH’s stress test came back negative, best friend’s mom is slowly recovering–prayers still needed though because she has a long road ahead of her.

I just got word now that our past president from the local chapter of the Crohn’s Colitis Foundation is in ICU on a venilator. He just had 4 surgeries and is still in alot of pain.
They are going to run some tests to see if the surgeries have worked. As of right now, Tim is on TPN and pain mgt.

Please pray for him and his family during this stressful time.

I would ask your prayers for those of us who have been hit, are being hit, or ssoon to be, by this winter storm that is moving across the country.
Here in upstate NY, there are people who all ready had 8 to 13 feet of snow before the storm moved over us.
I was just on the porch, securing the doors against the wind. It is zeroF, & snowing. I know that this is minor compared to what others have, but it is all I can say to express how bad it is, when this is an area that had been relatively fortunate.
Oswego County, NY…Governor Spitzer has called up the Guard to help in the State of Emergency up there…

And for those who have posted other rewuests for prayer, let me take the opportunity to say once more: I subsribe to this thread. Every request comes to my email box each day, & you are all in my prayers.

Please pray for us as we are getting hit by the winter storm right now. DH still had to go into work so I pray for his safety this AM as he drives in. WNY is taking a beating south and up north right now (I am up north across the street from lake ontario).

It’s blowing and bitterly cold. I am praying that they close the school here because most of the children walk and the plows haven’t been out yet to clear the roads.

One of my dear friends just e-mailed me to let me know that her mother passed away yesterday. Please pray for her soul and for my friend to find peace and healing from this loss. Thank you.

I need prayers for my cousin, Paul
My aunt sent me this, and I JUST got off the phone with my cousin.
My aunt wrote:
“I am going to ask for your prayers for Paul. He has had serious surgeryfor a tumor. They had to remove one half of his stomach, one half of his pancreas, gall bladder and some intestine. Went he is healed and has his strength back he will have to go for kemo. When Edward (my priest brother) is out visiting you it would be wonderful if he would stop by and give him some
encouragement. He is really worried about his future health”

My cousin hasn’t gone to church in YEARS and wants to coome back, Pray that the Holy Spirit will convict his heart to remember all that he can to make a Good Confession!
 
Please pray that I will find a carer for my 18mo son. Due to financial difficulties, I have to go back to work middle of March and need someone loving and patient to look after him. It breaks my heart to have to leave him. Thankyou
