Romney came across looking really bad there especially how he demeans and talks down to women.

And he seems to just grasp things out of nowhere that turn out not being true. I don’t really think we’re going to hear an honest word from the ole Romster.

As for Candy Crowley. Who cares? It’s all semantics anyway. Catching Romney in a lie is not a hard task nor does it mean much other than Romney was trying to bait and/or make Obama look bad. Well you can’t just lie and do that.

Just as a hint, even the left wingers who post here recognize “Think Progress” as a bunch of socialist agitprop…not worthy of a click through.

And frankly, all one has to do is look at the more liberal denominations and practitioners to see how that’s going.

I don’t know if there is a charitable way to say it for folks to take it seriously, but the Catholic Church is not a club or an institution that’s looking to be the most popular by compromising principles. It’s first and foremost duty has been to the Truth, and I think the Church has been pretty flexible and quite diverse over the years, more than what people give it credit for.

It takes an objective view to see this.

We are essentially in agreement. The Catholic Church is not a club or institution driven by popularity, nor should it be. You are either faithful to the Magisterium or you are not. I expect further shrinking and consolidation and welcome a future Church composed of Catholics dedicated to Church dogma and the Holy See.

Romney has gained considerably in his quest for the female vote, as reflected in the most recent polls. As for honesty, Romney is heads above Obama and Biden. Vote as you will, but I remain true to the Romney-Ryan ticket. They will get my vote in critical Virginia.

Candy Crowley admitted after the debate that Romney was right
  1. Her job was not be a fact checker or referee
  2. Her facts were wrong

It was Obama who flat out lied during the debate. He knew exactly what he said in the Rose Garden on 9/12, yet told us otherwise. He was also wrong on other things. Obama is the worst President I have experienced in my 50 years of life, and he must go.

I agree with the posters who have responded to your post. As a woman who is a mother
and who has been around a long time, the one who demeans women is Obama. His
pandering to the women’s vote by promising to have their contraceptives, sterilizations,
etc paid for is demeaning, not to speak about abusing our religious liberties as Catholics.
As for Candy Crowley, she admitted she was wrong, unfortunately there are people who
will never hear that. It is typical of liberal news media.
