If a man is on fire the right thing to do is to tell him to stop, drop and roll and help them put the fire out. The wrong thing to do is to ask the burning man “So, is it hot enough for you?”
So, you dont believe the Word of God? or you just dont belive when the Word of God condemns sins? i am not judging condemning you, God will do that. yes, God loves us, God also loved the Jews very much, but that did not stop Him from punishing the Jews when they took the wrong turn. did He ?
i do believe in the word of God but only that which is recorded in the Gospels of mathew mark luke and john because these are the words Jesus said. the word of God told by Jesus shows us how Jesus went out to sinners not those who believed its like in marks gospel when Jesus says that a doctor is needed for the ill not the healthy Jesus never spoke against homosexuals and Sodom and Gomarra are untrue and made up stories as i believe that the old testement is the word of man not of God. so love your neighboor as yourself and don’t judge as that is Gods position and lets not forget that Jesus was also human and believed his human teachings as once he insults all those who were not Jews as he says the the scraps of the children fall to the dogs. in those days the Dogs were gentiles and none Jews and the Children were the Jews people of Israel so alot of things in the bible are inaccurate and the Church are trying to work with science well it is scientifically stated that homosexuals do not chose but r born that way and it is down to the X and Y chromosones as i attend school and it is proven. therefore we do not fully understand the origins or the being of homosexual behaviours. God made me that way and i cant help it but i will try to lead a celebate life for the sake of my religious teachings not because God said so. love thy neighboor and do not judge. So, you dont believe the Word of God? or you just dont belive when the Word of God condemns sins? i am not judging condemning you, God will do that. yes, God loves us, God also loved the Jews very much, but that did not stop Him from punishing the Jews when they took the wrong turn. did He ?
thanks but i agree with your words on confession you cant sin confess sin confess you have to try and not say sorry unendingly thanx for ur support unlike some. yes homosexual seems to group people and it is demeaning but thanks God bless i love LOTR bit Random know elvish lol Thanks and God BlessMany people go through a state of curiosity. I could be wrong, but maybe thats what your going through right now. You may indeed be, I hate the word, it sounds demeaning…but a homosexual. Still…that is your cross to bear. Yes, GOD DOES forgive, but you have to really and truely mean your sorry. A lot of people thing that because we have confession that we can continue to go and sin and just come back and confess. No thats not how it works. Saying sorry means never doing it again. When you tell someone you love your sorry for what you did, you dont go around and do that thing again…cause then in the end that person wont believe you and wont trust you. I believe it works the same way with GOD. Just be a good person, live your life right. Maybe you wont marry, but perhaps your purpose in life is something you cant see right now. Meditate on your life, your meaning and ask GOD to enlighten you with the right thing to do and to guide you to your earthly path.I hope things work out well for you. I wish you the very best.![]()
Agreed.A Texas parish priest has written a column for the El Paso Times in which he strongly denounces homosexual activity.
“Every single Catholic, out of fidelity to charity and truth, has the absolute duty to oppose (1) the murder of unborn babies, and (2) any and all government attempts to legalize homosexual union,” wrote Father Michael Rodriguez in an August 2 column.

The source of the homosexual inclination is irrelevant. The origin of homosexual behavior is an act of the will.i do believe in the word of God but only that which is recorded in the Gospels of mathew mark luke and john because these are the words Jesus said. the word of God told by Jesus shows us how Jesus went out to sinners not those who believed its like in marks gospel when Jesus says that a doctor is needed for the ill not the healthy Jesus never spoke against homosexuals and Sodom and Gomarra are untrue and made up stories as i believe that the old testement is the word of man not of God. so love your neighboor as yourself and don’t judge as that is Gods position and lets not forget that Jesus was also human and believed his human teachings as once he insults all those who were not Jews as he says the the scraps of the children fall to the dogs. in those days the Dogs were gentiles and none Jews and the Children were the Jews people of Israel so alot of things in the bible are inaccurate and the Church are trying to work with science well it is scientifically stated that homosexuals do not chose but r born that way and it is down to the X and Y chromosones as i attend school and it is proven. therefore we do not fully understand the origins or the being of homosexual behaviours. Oh, I don’t think there has been any slackening in the population growth of the world. Births exceed deaths by quite a great deal. You know I read somewhere that when the end of times are near…there will be few to any births. I dont know but that sounds like the end is near…abortions and homosexuality.![]()
Nah, not ignorant at all. Its just an obscure abbreviation for a popular movie and book series.Dont know what LOTR is…call me ignorant…LOL.
oh LOTR stands for Lord Of the Rings lolDont know what LOTR is…call me ignorant…LOL. All I can say is Im not quick to judge…I dont condone homosexual behaviour but being a homosexual and living, doing acts and showing it off, are two different things. However…that being said, we are human…we all fall into sin. But I will say I have gay/lesbian friends who would be the first to help out someone in need that “true” catholics. My priest said it best this past sunday…a prostitute will get to heaven first than most of us here. We think we have the right to heaven or that we are earning it. Only GOD knows whos going in, and like our priest said “Who knows when your up there you might sit next to Saddam Husein!”
yes, they could be there but only if they have repented of their sins. i hope your priest was not preaching against repentence.Dont know what LOTR is…call me ignorant…LOL. If I find out someone is cheating on their spouse, I’ll tell them to stop.Dont go telling people, your wrong, you cant do that, thats SINFUL…without taking account of the human element.
How unbelievable and sad is this!! A harbinger of things to come? Get prepared through much prayer for the persecution of all of us!i know father and he is a holy, faithful priest. His is the only parish in town which offers a weekly latin mass. I went to a meeting in which he was invited to speak and he is the “real deal”. He is the kind of priest that truth loving catholics pray for.
Please, pray for this priest. He lives in a very hostile environment in this town. He has flown below the radar for the most part up to this point, but god help him now. I cringe at the persecution which will come his way. I genuinely fear that the bishop may try to remove him because of this publicity.
This diocese is awful. There is no room for a priest who actually speaks the truth, boldly and publicly.
During one the past elections a group of us tried to pass out the catholic answers publication “the five non-negotiables”. We asked permission from various priests and eventually were allowed to pass them out in a few parishes. The bishop caught wind of it and called a special meeting telling the priests in his diocese not to allow these books to be passed out. After that meeting, one of the priests who hadn’t passed them out yet actually had them burned.
I think that is a very good idea, and encourage everyone to do so.Please, pray for this priest.
While I admit to having no knowledge of Bishop Ochoa, I wonder if you aren’t doing him a disservice. He lives in a very hostile environment in this town. You are talking about a political tract. Yes, it draws its reasoning from Catholic teaching, but it also goes beyond Catholic teaching to proclaim “non-negotiables.” Even Cardinal Ratzinger, writing about abortion and politics, was not willing to declare the issue to be a “non-negotiable.”During one the past elections a group of us tried to pass out the Catholic Answers publication “The Five Non-negotiables”. Yeah, I wondered about the appropriateness of handing out a pamphlet of teachings from a website not under the aegis of the Catholic Church hierarchy. I actually can’t imagine that anything other than bishop-approved materials from the USCCB or the Vatican is ever handed out at at Catholic churches as Catholic “non-negotiables”. Especially if they touch on political issues, or are likely to be seen that way.I think that is a very good idea, and encourage everyone to do so.

Perhaps it would be good to give Bishop Ochoa the benefit of the doubt. He is looking after the spiritual welfare of his diocese. This doesn’t mean he will censure Fr. Rodriguez. But it also doesn’t mean he will embrace a political agenda.
Brace yourself You will soon be inundated with posts telling you the voter guides are in error and that everything is negotiable depending on the circumstances.I know Father and he is a holy, faithful priest.
