Yes true, but that does not make him everyones President.
Bush was duly elected President of the United States. He wasn’t partially elected nor is his office titled “partial President” or “President only for those who agree with him”

He is THE President of the US. If you live in the US, he’s YOUR President.

Darn good thing the principal isn’t in the armed forces. You see official portraits of the Commander-in-Chief all over the place in the armed forces…orderly rooms, staff offices, postal centers, medical clinics, even barracks CQ’s and storage buildings.

In the military, you might very well have to “look at Bush all day”, although IMPHO that’s a lot easier thing to do than to look at, say, Ted Kennedy all day.

Nope…I live here, but he is not my president…my president is back in Austria 🙂

Leave the picture up.

The children need to know who was responsible for creating the mess we are in…hang Tony Blairs’ picture next to him so they can also learn the meaning of CO-HORT.

LOL!!! If you live here, enjoy the fruits and protections of our society and pay taxes in our country then Bush is your President while you live here.

But, as long as you are in the USA, you are a guest of this country, and this country’s president is Bush. If I were in Austria on a visa, I’d expect to see pictures of YOUR president in public buidlings, such as schools.

Yeah, Bush and Blair have been busy loading up those bomb-belts and doing everything possible to prevent freedom in the Middle East, right?

I’d put Blair’s picture up beside Bush’s and a note stating this clear fact: “These leaders, with others in a coalition of freedom-loving nations have removed 2 tyrannical governments and replaced them with fledgling representitive governments, freeing 50 million people from butchery and torture.”

Then I’d put a picture below them of Chirac and all the rest of the EU leaders who’d rather Saddam have stayed in power so the oil-for-fraud scam could continue, under the title of: CO-Defendants.

Only if I veiw myself as an American…and I dont. So yes while I pay taxes in this country I do not view Bush as my President but as the President of the AMERICAN people.

No matter how you spin it Bush is your President while you live here. You can tell yourself he isn’t till the sky falls and it won’t change the reality. Similarly, if I were living in Austria and paying taxes, enjoying the fruits of the society, the leader of that nation would be my President while I lived there.

If you really believe that trying to rid the world of the kind of people who would hijack commercial jets with hundreds of non-combatants on board and fly those planes into buildings with thousands of non-combatant people in them then you support the REAL perpetrators of “the mess we are in”.

As Churchill once said, in so many words–you can only feed the crocodile so long before he will take your arm. Well, Islamic terrorists are trying to do that even though both America’s and England’s liberal governments tried to appease them and cowtowed to their terrorism. We actually helped bin Laden in his fight against the Russians and look at the thanks we got and are getting!

And while we’re at it, why don’t you people who are so against Bush and Blair ever mention the good things our armed forces people are doing in Iraq and Afghanistan and other places? Things like rebuilding hospitals, roads, and schools. Enforcing their new governments’ efforts to bring civil rights to their women and freedom for all, while training their own people to take over once things are settled? Tell me, why don’t you?

“A portrait of President Bush has led to the filing of a federal lawsuit, after a New York schoolteacher says she was ordered to remove the image from a display of U.S. presidents and ultimately was forced to resign her position.”

According to the article, the picture of President Bush was part of a display of U.S. presidents. Apparently the principal of this school believes that kids should only be taught the part of American history she likes. No wonder kids are getting such a poor quality education these days.

I bet Bill Clinton’s picture is still hanging.🙂
You think this principal would be totally embarrassed to pick just Bush’s picture from among the rest.
In my life time, I have never seen a president that is hated more than George Bush.

According to the “Blame America, and our President” there wouldn’t be any terrorist attacks if Bush wasn’t president.
When will people understand that we are in a war against radical Islam.

It’s amazing. We heard people complaining that Bush didn’t do anything to prevent terrorist attacks before 9/11. Now that he is working to reduce future terrorism by disrupting the sources of terrorism (rather than just fighting terrorist as they come over here) those same people complaining about that too. He’s basically draining the swamp instead of swatting flies.

These same people said nothing about Clinton’s invasion of Serbia, without UN approval, which was far less of a threat than Saddam’s Iraq. Oops, sorry, Clinton was a democrat, so they didn’t care to criticize him.

Whether or not Iraq should have been the next target is debatable–whether or not Saddam was a terror enabler is not.

It’s ridiculous that people hate Bush so much that they completely ignore Saddam’s attrocities, his war crimes, and, yes, his funding of terrorists, both before and after 9/11. Funny how his payouts doubled after 9/11, but I guess that doesn’t matter, the enemy is Bush.

Sometimes, i get tired of beating this dead horse, yet I get so frustrated at this “Bush bad” nonsense. Facts supported what Bush did in Iraq. Period.

I think the reason Bush is the most hated president, is that we now have advanced enough in our technology to get it done.

Advertising and marketing knowledge, polls, modern communications, and sympathy from people in key positions. Perfect tools to cultivate a breeding ground of hatred.

Aaln

They forget how often we were attacked during the 90s. I hold Bill Clinton somewhat responsible for that–he ignored, trivialized, attributed as an accident, ect., many attacks in the 90s becaue he did not want to deal with the fallouts of war. Instead, he’d invite the murderous Yasser Arafat over for tea.
