If I were a woman I’d be rather offended that someone said my vagina, something that is made to …expel waste in liquid form (urine)
That’s not what the vagina does. Just want to be clear on that.

The vagina was meant for sex and childbirth. The anus is not meant for anything else but expulsion of fecal matter. You clear?
In nature there is no such thing as “meant for”. Something either works for a purpose or it doesn’t. The anus works for sex, both gay and straight, as does the mouth, hands, feet, etc. If it feels good for both parties involved then it’s for sex.

You may not enjoy it. But that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t work for other people.

I remember reading a long time ago in The Chronicle of Higher Education that in Latin American cultures there is a similar view of sexuality. Men who have strong dominant personalities (i.e. macho men) may engage in same sex acts with ‘gay’ men. So long as the macho heterosexual man maintains the ‘dominant’ role, he is socially accepted as a straight man. The underlying belief is that a macho man cannot deny his sexual urges and is therefore not faulted for acting on them. I don’t know how accurate this description is.

From my perspective…it is what it is. Straight men don’t go there.
That is in fact a historically common view of sexuality.
And I rescued a cat out of burning tree. Twice.
You asked me if I had engaged in anal sex and the answer is “no I have not, nor have I engaged in any sexual acts with another person”.
And that comment just sums up the need for better sex ed in our schools.
They even used it as a major chunk of an episode on Orange is the New Black.

The gay and bisexual imates do. The straight ones don’t. Straight men do not have sexual relations with men.
I think the problem is you’re buying into the propaganda that there is a fixed absolute orientation called gay and that it is one’s God given nature and can’t ever change. That is false secular paganist propaganda. Dont believe it. There are only biological men made to have sex with biological women and biological women made to have sex with biological men. The other categories refer to what are only distorted inclinations and distorted pysches/interior conditions in all of these men and women, some affecting subjective sexual experience and distorting it. There is external temptation and there is internal weakness or inclinations. We are subject to both in differing degrees. All of us. Not just gay men. Men who are gay have this particular internal distortion which makes them more vulnerable to the devils external temptations to this particular form of sin or rebellion. Men who are straight lack this particular internal weakness but are distorted in other ways and can still be tempted into pursuing homosexual activity. It is simply a question of degree in how vulnerable one is to a particular type of temptation or sin. In homosexual sin, those we call gay are the weakest and most vulnerable to the devil’s temptations which means they are least likely to incur the heaviest penalty for that sin if they fall, unlike those “straight” who fall into homosexual sin without a similar level of temptation.

My problem with secularists who infiltrate the church is that they never like the condition to be seen in these terms. They want the condition to be rebranded as positive. It is just a combination of temptation and human weakness. The modern world makes the temptation stronger for those who start with the weakness already strongly felt. But I believe that anyone in the right circumstances can be tempted with any type of sin. They can find themselves experiencing gay feelings and suggestions in their minds and may want to engage in gay acts with a particular person who has mysteriously got under their skin unnoticed. In this sinful world in the proper circumstances it is possible for all of us to do anything. I think mr teresa or some other saint said that. No one should say they can never be tempted to do anything. We are all capable of all sin under the sun, each one of us. It is buying into false pagan propaganda to then label people who succumbed to sin gay simply because they fell. Like all sin, they can fall and repent and start again without keeping the tag of the sin.

I’m not buying into anyone’s propaganda. I absolutely agree that everyone is tempted and that everyone has his and her weaknesses.

However, the notion that any man can be tempted into homosexual sin is, if anything, *more *secular because it levels the playing field to a point that would openly accept homosexual acts as something that can (or does) happen to any or all of us. So why shouldn’t we, then, accept gay marriage?

Believe me, I have had enough opportunities in my life to know that I never will. I can detail them if you want. I will not change my position: straight men do not engage in gay sex acts.

Are you aware that the belief that anyone could be tempted into such a sin is in fact the medieval belief? One cannot rationally claim a belief is a more secular or more modern one when that was the medieval belief, and that the modern and secular belief is in fact the less secular and less modern one.

I don’t know, so I can’t argue the Medieval point, but it’s an argument used by self-described homosexual men to convince people that all men can be tempted/seduced that way. And I think they do that, in part, to try to convince people to be more accepting of the lifestyle.

I don’t think that follows.

It’s akin to saying everyone can be tempted into murder, so murder should be more accepted.

I would argue it’s the opposite, in that’s since it’s not a completely genetic impulse and can be morphed and changed, it’s a temptation that everyone has to deal with. Therefore, society as a whole EXPECTS you to deal with it and not change based on your disordered whims.

One thing is for sure. Babies come out of the vagina, you can have sex any other way but you won’t get a baby from there.

I don’t think so. Murder is too different from gay…

I agree with that point, except I think there is a push to **expect **that the “fluidity” of sexuality should make people more accepting of gay activities. Reasoning, “Since straight men don’t truly exist, since all men can be seduced given the right circumstances, we should accept gay sex as natural and normal.”

Is ti that or does it help as an explanation for why homosexuals sometimes wind up in marriage with someone of the opposite sex then come out as lesbian/gay without it impinging on their sexuality.
