You’re entitled to your opinion and your beliefs, no need for you to bash ours and always be so ignorant and disrespectful.
That’s right, I am entitled to my opinion. Excuse me, but respect is for that which deserves it. When you embraced Islam you consented to live by a 7th century set of rules that do not belong in the 21st. If you want to live that way that’s fine, but the problem is that Muslims think that Islam and sharia should dominate the world and and that all other forms of religions and governments should be eliminated, and I take exception to that.

**
Verily, either we or you are rightly guided or in plain error. (Quran Saba:24)
**
Surat ul Kaafiruun (The Disbelievers)109:
Say: O Ye who reject faith! I worship not that which you worship, nor will you worship that which I worship. And I will not worship that which you have been accustomed to worship, nor will you worship that which I worship. To you be your way, and to me- mine.
Yes, we certainly don’t worship the same, the God I worship loves everyone and wants salvation for all, and the god of the Quran whom you worship (who is really Muhammad) only loves Muslims and relegates everyone else to hell.

Hi Vickie, do you have proof of your statement? I will not accept a link or an article. You must provide proof directly from the Qur’an.👍

Hi dessert, that particular statement about bashing was to Vickie directly, because most of her posts are just disrespectful and insulting and most of the links she posts are from anti-Islamic hate spewed websites.
The ex-Muslims who run those “hate spewed websites” as you call them, risk their lives by warning people about the real Islam, not the one Muslims promote to fool gullible non-Muslims. Muslims send them death threats and emails full of filth, plus gory details of what they’d like to do to them. If things like those were posted here, the poster would be banned instantly, but they leave them there on purpose, to make people aware of the real Islam and its barbaric and disgusting teachings.

Where ever Islam goes, chaos follows in its wake. Muslims make incessant demands of their secular employers to grant them time for their washings and prayers and sue them if they get get fed up with the practice. Nothing about Islam makes sense! If Muslims want to be so clean, why would they clean their feet in the toilet as they did in one college when all the sinks were in use by other Muslims washing theirs? God help anyone who needed to go to the bathroom while all this was going on!

Jews don’t eat pork either but you don’t see them refusing to scan a package of bacon at a grocery store as Muslims do. Muslim cab drivers refuse to transport anyone carrying liquor, and refuse to carry a blind person with a seeing eye dog, because dogs are unclean! Muslims want all sorts of concessions made for them which they would never grant to anyone else. They want freedom for themselves that they deny to non-Muslims in Muslim countries!

Vickie

Are you one of those “Quran-Only” Muslims?

Here is what Vickie said: and the god of the Quran whom you worship (who is really Muhammad) only loves Muslims and relegates everyone else to hell.

The Qur’an is the WORD OF GOD. If what Vickie says were actually true, the ONLY PROOF of her statement would be IN THE QUR’AN. But what she says isn’t true and she can’t prove it. And if she tries, I can prove her wrong.

But her statement hinges on the Qur’an. It is impossible to say anything about God in Islam without referring to the Qur’an.

I myself doubt if what Vickie said is in Islam. But the Quran is not the only source of truth for mainstream islam. They also use the sunnah. Yeah the sunnah explains the quran, but sometimes the sunnah introduces ideas that isnt in the quran. like the idea that women are mostly in hell.

So, do you follow the sunnah or are you one of those “Quran-only” muslims?

Sura 9:29-31:

Fight those who believe not in God nor the last day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by God and His Apostle, nor acknowledge the religion of truth, (even if they are) of the people of the Book [Bible], until they pay the jizya with willing submission, feel themselves subdued. Jews call Uzair [Ezra] a son of God, and the Christians call Christ the Son of God … God’s curse be on them; how they are deluded away from truth! They take their priests and their anchorites to be their lords in derogation of God, and (they take as their Lord) Christ the son of Mary. Yet they are commanded to worship but One God.

005.014
From those, too, who call themselves Christians, We did take a covenant, but they forgot a good part of the message that was sent them: ***so we estranged them, with enmity and hatred ***between the one and the other, to the day of judgment. And soon will Allah show them what it is they have done.

YUSUFALI: The Jews call 'Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah’s curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!

009.029 Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book(jews and christians), until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

5:51 O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust.

Now that was not very loving…

If God didn’t say it, then nobody else has authority to say it about God. So if there is no proof for what Vickie said in the Qur’an, then we know that she just made it up.

I’m still waiting for proof that

(1) God only loves Muslims and

(2) Everyone else goes to Hell.

Whenever you’re ready, I will offer proof to the contrary.

I have not disrespected you. You are always disrespecting me. How do you know “what Muslims think”? Can you read the minds of every single Muslim in order to make such a blanket statement? I don’t think you can.

Where do you get this stuff from? Do you make it up yourself or did someone else feed it to you? because it’s not true.

These verses are quoted because the peaceful ones that Muhammed wrote before he took over Medina are abrogated by the violent verses written when he had the power to make war. These are also the verses that have inspired muslims throughout the centuries to murder non-muslims (e.g. 65 million hindus) and violently conquer non-muslim lands.
There is no truth in what is written above. Nothing is abrogated in the Quran i.e. the new testament from God now. Quran is the new testament. Muhammad was peaceful for thirteen years in Makkah and suffered much at the hands of the pagan countrymen.

He had to flee for his life. He migrated to Madinah in very difficult circumstances. But the enemy did not let him have any peace there too and came there to attack Madinah and finish Islam. The prophet had to manage and retaliate and protect the message of God that he was recieving and reciting. No verse was abrogated. Only new orders came from Allah to defend and fight the infidels.

Otherwise, the religion of Islam means peace. It is not the name of a place or a person like Christianity (named after christ). Islam stands for complete peace.

No, the Quran is not the word of God! You only believe it is because Muhammad said it was and you cannot prove otherwise. All you have is circular reasoning!

Your statement assumes that the quran has anything to do with God…which is false.

What she is pointing out it the anti non-muslim sentiment in the quran which came from muhammed (supposedly). It is a common concept in islamic theology that there is a constant war against dar al islam and dar all harab until islam subjugates, kills or converts non-muslims unit islam reigns supreme. The dhimmi status of non-muslims further points to the reduced dignity of non-muslims in islam allowed by the quran and the hadith.

islam actually mean submission which is far different than the peace given by God.

The concept of aborgation is a well known one and you should ask your imam about it. It is a way muslims explain away the many discrepancies in the quran. It is base on this verse:

Surah 2:106:

None of Our revelations do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but We substitute something better or similar: Knowest thou not that Allah Hath power over all things?

here is an article that explains it further:

The concept of “dar al-islam” and “dar al-harb” was not invented until centuries after the advent of Islam. They are not part of islamic theology, nor are they part of orthodox Islamic teachings. War (the meaning of harb is war) is NEVER a desired state. If we were really at a state of war… well it’d be bad. It just doesn’t make sense.

“Dhimmi” means protected, in the sense that non-Muslims didn’t have to fight in the military of a non-Muslim state. It is not reduced dignity, it is reduced obligation. Most of what has been said on this site about it is complete and total fabrication.

I’m sorry if what I said offended you. All I’m saying is that Islam is made up of the primitive and archaic beliefs of the 7th century Arabs. I don’t consider such beliefs relevant or compatible with the modern world. You’ve left daylight to embrace darkness.

Tell me, do you consider these actions reasonable? This is one example of why Islamic teachings clash with the rest of the world.

Dhimmis are forced to pay the “protection” tax and are humiliated. They’re considered 2nd class citizens.
