I’ll bet you’re getting told where to go!Yeah thats why a lot of muslims keep wishing Mohammad with ‘peace be upon him’ (pbuh). because nobody is sure what allah would to him. right, hamba?

Who are you addressing this to? You have made your bias toward Islam blatant on this thread.Although an agnostic your bias towards Islam is well documented on this board so your view is skewed.
comparing 2 such incidents side by side, sure the bible policy is a lot more cruel. but i took into consideration the limitations and rate of occurrences. how many rapes are there compared to rebellious wives? and then how many jews are there compared to muslims? jews stick to themselves, while muslims convert everybody. thats how the koran rules over the bible. Not even close the Bible took it in every category, paying a rape victims FATHER, not even the rape victim $50 then making her marry the man who raped her is infinitely more vile than saying it’s O.K. to hit your wife a little, and it’s just as much of a going forward command as what is in the Koran.
Only because I see that its more cruel than the bible. If my view is skewed then prove my bias. I am realistic, show me a real time application of the bible that beats the koran in real time in terms of violence.Although an agnostic your bias towards Islam is well documented on this board so your view is skewed.
A brief advanced search of your username and the word “Islam” will return plenty of your bias. Me I"m faithless and actually indifferent to all religions and I think they’re all ridiculous. So I can look at each with a more opened mind.Only because I see that its more cruel than the bible. If my view is skewed then prove my bias. Yeah i’m biased, but its not unfounded. Lets just reason together. Im not afraid to admit my faultsA brief advanced search of your username and the word “Islam” will return plenty of your bias. If you are indiffrent to all religions, why are you here?A brief advanced search of your username and the word “Islam” will return plenty of your bias. Me I"m faithless and actually indifferent to all religions and I think they’re all ridiculous. So I can look at each with a more opened mind.
Oh Lukewarm, you know you are not being honest here—you know that you are editing the text to make it seem that sacrificing children became a custom in Israel. Shame, shame on you!Judges 11:39:
“At the end of two months she returned to her father, who did to her according to the vow which he had made; and she had no relations with a man. Thus it became a custom in Israel”
(he vowed to sacrifice as a burnt offering the next person to walk through his door, this turned out to be his daughter).
lukewarm; Although I never called you a liar, I do have an opinion untowards your claim. It’s a free world. And I’m entitled to an opinion.I judge off of what I have available, and to call me a liar for no good reason IMO makes you an indecent person. Sorry if that bothers you, but it definitely doesn’t show a good side of you.
Hi RickD1950,If you know the Bible 4:157 Is also repeated in John. They are referring to the Zionist or Jews. Jesus said they are nothing but liars and thief’s. They have no right to claim to be a descendants of Abraham. The zionist do not have any claim to Palestine according to the Qu’ran and the Bible. The Muslims and Catholics have lived in peace for years before the zionist showed up. Israel is a false country and still supports slavery. They know nothing about the concept of human rights. The zionist are just a false teaching and have taken land which is not theirs to take. They have persecuted both the Catholics and the Muslims. They promote prostitution and strip search both Catholic and Muslim girls. We need to stand united against the zionist evil.
For starters, when you call people dimwits for using tu quoque, it helps if you don’t call it to quoqueLOL what you wrote made no sense, I proposed a very simple proposition and you come back with nonsense about logical fallacies. I can’t stand it when dimwits use words like to quoque and “red herring” because they are too scared to engage. If you don’t want to play find another thread.
Which is a tu quoque argument! So again very simple, give me the worst Surah in the Qu’ran and I’ll find ten ones in the Bible that put it to shame.
But you say there’s two sets; you’ve not been able to show this. I’ve challenged you to show this, say with regards the beating of wives. And you back down right away. This thread is merely to show the few anti-Islamic propagandaists on this board (two of the worst are in this thread), that if they can argue by cherry picking Surah’s it’s only fair if people are able to do the same about the Bible. You can’t use two sets of standards, it’s not right.
That’s a flaw in the challenge because both religions don’t view their books the same way.But this is the Bible vs the Koran, not the NT vs the Koran.
That’s right! We don’t believe that a God of love will do this.IMO, the real cause of Christian disagreement with Muslim beliefs is that Christians just cannot bring themselves to accept that it is God Himself who will send people to the Hellfire.
A bit of a tautology, but never-the-less if you want to believe in a god who deceives, and who is cruel, that’s up to you.*Knowlegeable Muslims *on the other hand have no problem at all accepting that God is indeed the Greatest Terrorist there is.
This thread is not about “What people in general believe”thats a mighty big insult to human intelligence. a lot of people dont even believe in hell.
Not quite. If you take no action when you’re sick, you could be said to have allowed yourself to die. And this would be a better analogySince people send themselves to Hell, we can also say that viruses do not kill people.
If you compare a virus to sin, then we Christians take steps to have a cure - unless we choose to live in sin. And we suffer from the consequences of sinInstead, it is people who allow themselves to be killed by viruses.
Each of your points was met, in turn. Instead of dealing with that you switch back to ‘rant’ mode. Not even close the Bible took it in every category, paying a rape victims FATHER, not even the rape victim $50 then making her marry the man who raped her is infinitely more vile than saying it’s O.K. to hit your wife a little, and it’s just as much of a going forward command as what is in the Koran.
Even if someone were biased, that doesn’t negate what they’ve said here… you’ve not been able to show that.Although an agnostic your bias towards Islam is well documented on this board so your view is skewed.
I’m more decent than you I think, I tend to think the best of people not immediately suspect the worst in the, I certainly don’t suspect people when they’ve given no good reason for it. To me that is kind of a crazy way to view people…lukewarm; Although I never called you a liar, I do have an opinion untowards your claim. It’s a free world. And I’m entitled to an opinion.
I’m happy to repeat my opinion; I don’t believe that you have read the Qur’an from cover to cover. If my opinion means I’m calling you a liar and makes me indecent, so be it. It doesn’t bother me. What does bother me is the teapot calling the kettle black. Do you suppose that a contest looking for the worse of two books, with a disregard to context, is decent? To put it bluntly, do you suppose that you are decent?
:bowdown:A brief advanced search of your username and the word “Islam” will return plenty of your bias. Me I"m faithless and actually indifferent to all religions and I think they’re all ridiculous. So I can look at each with a more opened mind.
Met in turn LOL, we aren’t reading the same topic I think…Not quite. If you take no action when you’re sick, you could be said to have allowed yourself to die. And this would be a better analogy
If you compare a virus to sin, then we Christians take steps to have a cure - unless we choose to live in sin. And we suffer from the consequences of sin
Now you’re learning, bow down *****…
Yet you have decided, for no apparent reason, that a lot of Christians are hypocrites.I’m more decent than you I think, I tend to think the best of people not immediately suspect the worst in the, I certainly don’t suspect people when they’ve given no good reason for it. To me that is kind of a crazy way to view people…
