While I understand what AgnosTheist is saying, this is a good point and if someone like lukewarm wants to do a comparison they would do well to remember that. Muslims claim they worship the God of Abraham which is the God of the OT/NT so claiming the OT is morally horrible in comparison to the Quran and issuing challenges based on that is well, frankly sophomoric. Although the comparison you wrote is subject to challenge both from the Christian and the Muslim, it served as a good reference to lukewarm since by looking at your name (only) you do not represent the Christian nor the Muslims.

I do not know. Somehow I believe that you are a Christian from a certain denomination which I don’t know. I asked you in another thread if you don’t mind to tell us.

IMO, the real cause of Christian disagreement with Muslim beliefs is that Christians just cannot bring themselves to accept that it is God Himself who will send people to the Hellfire.

They simply are unable to reconcile that an all-loving and compassionate God can prepare such a place like Hell for His creations.

Knowlegeable Muslims on the other hand have no problem at all accepting that God is indeed the Greatest Terrorist there is.

You are right. We agree to disagree about God. For us, God is love. There is not a single idea that God has the will to punish human. We believe that it is the free choice of human themselves which somebodies chose to be away from God, and end up in hell. Hell is not a creation of God. Hell is the ultimate consequency if somebody chose to be away from God.

One thing you are wrong. God is not terrorist. I hope that you don’t mean what you wrote.

Since people send themselves to Hell, we can also say that viruses do not kill people.

Instead, it is people who allow themselves to be killed by viruses.

That is what the bible as well as medical science are for. By learning from the experiences of cases in the past, scientist discover viruses, and by doing so, discover the antibodies. By learning from the experiences of people strugle in the past, we discover that sins caused all of that. By doing so, we discover that there is one and only antibody of sin. The antibody of sins is the word of God, and the word of God is Jesus. People who do not take precaution against viruses means that such people are allowing themselves to be killed by virus. People who chose to be away from God, are going to hell by their own choise.

Off course, no sane people chose hell directly. By engaging sins, people chose hell indirectly, sometimes they don’t even realize their own choice.

No we can not say that. That is simply wrong. Some people due to ignorance or neglect (their choice) die because they do not take the proper precautions against viruses and succumb to them. Just like Hell. God warns you, you ignore it, you suffer the consequences of your actions. See how simple that is?
