I don’t know. I was watching the demographic results crawl across the bottom of one of the news stations. Interesting. The young went for Obama. The older the demographic, the more they went for Romney. Single women went for Obama, married women for Romney. Women in general went for Obama at a higher rate while men went for Romney at a higher rate. The more religious went for Romney, the less religious went for Obama.
I think the Obama vote was still going possibly for hope and change, although they may be less hopeful than last time around.
The nation seems to have decided that it really wants to be an entitlement society. The question is whether that can continue, or whether, like Greece, the piper will have to be paid. I’m afraid the piper will have to be paid, and soon. When that happens, will we, like Greece, incur civil unrest because of unfulfilled expectations?
