I’ll sign it and send it, but it’s a waste of time. The passage of Obamacare should have been enough to prove to everyone that neither Congress or Obama gives a rat’s hindquarters about what we want. We clearly told them in one town hall meeting after another that we didn’t want it, and they rammed it down our throats anyway. The only thing that will ever get the attention of these people, I’m sorry to say, is brute force: the people are simply going to have to take a stand and say, “No, we won’t. If you try to force us to, you’re going to have to fight us.”
But the people are afraid to do that right now. They’re still trying to hang on to what little they’ve got left and not endanger it—they don’t want to rock the boat and lose it. Unfortunately, they’re going to lose it anyway, because that’s what the gang in Washington wants, and it’s only going to be when the people have nothing left to lose that they’re finally going to be spurred enough to take action. By then, it will either be too late and we’ll be living under a police state, or it’ll be a much, much tougher fight to regain our liberties than it would be if we did something right now----because if we did, the gang in Washington would back down.
When the government lives in mortal fear of the people, you have liberty.
When the people live in mortal fear of the government, you have tyranny.
