(although in a way, American’s financial problems might be partly a function of losing the soul). America will not be turned around in a year or four years, by a tax cut or even a supreme court justice.

Rick Santorum speaks from the heart. It was a beautiful speech, particularly when he talked about his daughter, Bella, and also his father. He hardly said much about Romney, however, and neither did any of the other speakers, including Chris Christie, the keynote speaker. Mention of Romney came across as almost an afterthought or a fill-in-the-blank, by-the-way, generic candidate. The only other speech that was, not surprisingly, both sincere and effective, was that of Ann Romney. She is Mitt Romney’s greatest political asset.Rick Santorum 2020.
