Huntsman has some funds to keep him going. But I don’t know how much longerTop choices:
.
- Gingrich, Bachmann, Santorum
- Paul, Romney, Cain
- Perry and Huntsman are done. (IMO)
Agree (except for Romney dominating), I believe they are the best choices in that order regardless of finances.Huntsman has some funds to keep him going. But I don’t know how much longer
I really don’t know what keeps Santorum in the race.
Gingrich is selling books and speaking tours.
Perry has LOTS of money (17 million) so he isn’t going anywhere.
From experience in the past, these candidates stay in until their money runs dry.
Bachmann is playing spoiler in these events. Now she is going after Cain.
Romney dominated to night.
You vote on the issues and who is most likely to support and promote our views on the issues. See: USCCB “Faithful Citizenship” None of the candidates are anti-Catholic. Some may be more pro-life than others and we should probably vote for those who are more pro-life. Remember, The direct and intentional destruction of innocent human life from the moment of conception until natural death is always wrong and is not just one issue among many. It must always be opposed. What does our Catholic faith say about supporting a Morman for President? The Mormans I know are very anti-Catholic. I am not being hateful here, I am only want an answer seeing how things are progressing.
Phase 1 - 9-9-9
Code:Current circumstances call for bolder action. The Phase 1 Enhanced Plan incorporates the features of Phase One and gets us a step closer to Phase two. I call on the Super Committee to pass the Phase 1 Enhanced Plan along with their spending cut package. The Phase 1 Enhanced Plan unites Flat Tax supporters with Fair tax supporters. Achieves the broadest possible tax base along with the lowest possible rate of 9%. It ends the Payroll Tax completely – a permanent holiday! Zero capital gains tax Ends the Death Tax. Eliminates double taxation of dividends Business Flat Tax – 9% Gross income less all investments, all purchases from other businesses and all dividends paid to shareholders. Empowerment Zones will offer additional deductions for payroll employed in the zone. Individual Flat Tax – 9%. Gross income less charitable deductions. Empowerment Zones will offer additional deductions for those living and/or working in the zone. National Sales Tax – 9%. This gets the Fair Tax off the sidelines and into the game.
Phase 2 – The Fair Tax
Code:Amidst a backdrop of the economic boom created by the Phase 1 Enhanced Plan, I will begin the process of educating the American people on the benefits of continuing the next step to the Fair Tax. The Fair Tax would ultimately replace individual and corporate income taxes. It would make it possible to end the IRS as we know it. The Fair Tax makes our exported goods and services the most competitively internationally than any other tax system.
Phase 1 Enhanced Plan – Summary
Code:Unites all tax payers so we all pay income taxes and no one pays payroll taxes Provides the least incentive to evade taxes and the fewest opportunities to do so Lifts a $430 billion dead-weight burden on the economy due to compliance, enforcement, collection, etc. Is fair, neutral, transparent, and efficient Ends nearly all deductions and special interest favors Ends all payroll taxes Ends the Death Tax Features zero tax on capital gains and repatriated profits Lowest marginal rates on production Allows immediate expensing of business investments Eliminates double taxation of dividends Increases capital formation. Capital per worker drives productivity and wage growth Capital formation will aid capital availability for small businesses Features a platform to launch properly structured Empowerment Zones to revitalize our inner cities We all know the Fed has tripled the money supply since 2008. They have been printing money out of thin air to finance the Obama spending machine. While true Fed reform that restores sound money may have to wait for my election, the best thing we can do now is to pursue policies that increase the DEMAND for dollars to help mitigate the risks associated with the increase in the supply. Pro-growth economic policies equal a strong dollar policy
No, but I dang sure don’t trust them now either. With multi-billion dollar corporations paying 0 taxes, something has to change. It’s not like we are being taxed by the feds now anyway. Through fuel and FCC charges, business taxes are passed on to the consumer. Democrats try to throw “trickle-down” in our face and laugh as if it doesn’t exist, go ahead and tax and regulate corporations to the teeth and tell me it doesn’t trickle down.Herman Cain’s 9-9-9 plan is basically a pair of proposals: deep cuts in the existing federal taxes on individual and corporate income, both of which would be reduced to a flat rate of 9 percent from existing rates that run above 30 percent, combined with a new 9 percent national sales tax.
Mr. Cain has provided only a broad sketch of how such a plan would work, making it impossible to evaluate exactly how much money the government would raise.
But one clear feature of the proposal is that it would shift the burden of taxation, as Bruce Bartlett noted in a recent piece for The New York Times. By cutting income tax rates and imposing a sales tax to make up the difference, the plan would reduce taxes on higher-income families and raise taxes on lower-income families — including many families who pay no taxes under the current system. Some of those lower-income families, who now receive payments from the government, would instead be required to pay taxes.
It’s also important to note that the plan is intended as a transitional stage. Mr. Cain proposes the ultimate elimination of income taxes, in favor of a flat 30 percent sales tax.

As Michelle Bachmann pointed out tonight it simply sets up a new federal income tax that the federal government can raise over time (like cities and states have.)
Does anyone really trust the federal government that much?
Most Mormons I know are personally not really Anti-Catholic, although their RELIGIOUS DOGMA is. Difference. I personally agree that Mormons are NOT Christian, but…What does our Catholic faith say about supporting a Morman for President? The Mormans I know are very anti-Catholic. I am not being hateful here, I am only want an answer seeing how things are progressing.
I think Romney won the debate. He sounded presidential, talking about the importance of leadership, and looked presidential. I couldn’t care less that he’s a Mormon. What I do worry about is his economic competence although he supposedly has the background in this area according to…himself. What should we make of his Romney Care package in Massachusetts? Many say it has not been a success, so why didn’t Perry pursue this more? Also, Romney’s attitude toward China seems a bit troubling. And so far he appears to speak in generalities despite his detailed, multi-pronged proposal for job growth.
I tend to agree with Bachmann on that one.Herman Cain’s 9-9-9 plan is basically a pair of proposals: deep cuts in the existing federal taxes on individual and corporate income, both of which would be reduced to a flat rate of 9 percent from existing rates that run above 30 percent, combined with a new 9 percent national sales tax.

There will always be pro-life options outside of the two party system. If we keep voting along the lines of democrat or republican, we will always be stuck with the lesser of two evils. What does our Catholic faith say about supporting a Morman for President?
