Nice one Mitt. I guess you wouldn’t be “too conserned” would you? Thanks for being honest though. 😦

Well, Al Sharpton and Rachel Maddow will have lots of fun with this tonight. Seriously, the media should understand that transparent stuff like this backfires. It will give the Left something to gawk at, and it will push people who are on the fence about Romney (and are willing to think about it for more than 5 seconds) into defending him. For instance, he is my least favorite of the 4 remaining Republican candidates, but this is ridiculous.

I guess that’s why he keeps his family in Africa - less embarrassment and it doesn’t cost him a thing.
That’s not fair man - his Uncle Omar and Aunt Zeituni have been living illegally in Massachusetts and you know it.

Who is the one in the hut he doesnt seem to want to help with his own money?

The list of relatives he doesn’t want to help always confuses me.
maybe an easy to read chart would be helpful.

Brother, I think. I too lose track. Perhaps categories like “legal relatives in the US,” “illegal relatives in the US,” and “relatives living in huts” would help out.

I’m conserned as well, mostly with the education system in this country.

😃

That would be extremely helpful, indeed.

On the maxed out thread before it was closed due to 1000 posts, a Gallup map was posted showing the winner of the Republican primary would defeat Obama
in a landslide based on state by state job approvals.

The problem with that for the Republican primary victor is there are voters who wouldn’t necessarily give Obama the highest marks on job approval but who might still end up voting for him as the “lesser of 2 evils” as the saying goes. And yet Gallup gives a lot of states which are electoral tossups to the Republican primary winner. All of which makes the map meaningless at this point.

Obama is soooooo concerned about the poor his administration has multiplied them like jack rabbits, Obama owns records for food stamps usage, poverty levels, and all time length between jobs for Americans.

And of course it’s Bush’s fault.

Thank you, ringil, for fact-checking Mitt Romney remarks. How could ABC get away with such selective quoting? How could they fail to report Mitt’s “that’s C-O-N-S-E-R-N-E-D, when you’re reporting it (I don’t want to fail the Quayle spelling bee”)? I can’t fail to appreciate your incites.

That quote is taken out of context.
Responding to reporters’ questions during the press availability on his plane, Romney made sure to put the quote in the correct context.
No, no, no, no," Romney said. "You’ve got to take the whole sentence, all right, as opposed to saying, and then change it just a little bit, because then it sounds very different. I’ve said throughout the campaign my focus, my concern, my energy is gonna be devoted to helping middle income people, all right? We have a safety net for the poor in, and if there are holes in it, I will work to repair that. And if there are people that are falling through the cracks I want to fix that.”
Romney explained further, saying his campaign has always been about helping the middle class.
“Wealthy people are doing fine,” Romney said. “But my focus in the campaign is on middle income people. Of course I’m concerned about all Americans - poor, wealthy, middle class, but the focus of my effort will be on middle income families who I think have been most hurt by the Obama economy.”
Romney conceded there were holes in the safety net for poor Americans, and acknowledged it was the government’s responsibility to help find the systems’ deficiencies.
Campaigning in South Carolina ahead of the state’s primary, Romney actually said he was concerned about the poor, before reiterating that his campaign wasn’t focused on wealthy people.
"I’m concerned about the poor in this country," Romney said on January 13. “We have to make sure the safety net is strong and able to help those who cannot help themselves. I’m not terribly worried about the wealthiest in our society. They’re doing just fine. I’m concerned about the vast middle class in our nation, the 90% or 95% of Americans who are having tough times.”

This is off topic, but I could not believe it the other day when Obama said in an interview to Diane Sawyer that he does not personally give out food stamps, this was in response to Gingrich’s comments about the rise of food stamp recipients under Obama’s presidency - of course Obama does not give them out personally, but his economy has created the circumstances in which more people need food stamps.

I think most underwhelmed Obama voters will stay home and not vote at all.

Ahhh…the one he made worse by not being able to work with a Republican congress?
Thank God in 2010 the people voted in Republicans who would say NO to his ridiculous spending. I know thats what I voted for.

He has no plan to help… just spend into oblivion… he is a FAILURE.
