Ya know, I’m beginning to think that people are actually afraid Ron Paul might get some good things done. Why else would they be voting against someone who has actually introduced bills that define life from conception or against someone who has shown how he will end the Fed or the federal income tax altogether?
Because his foreign policy will lead to the end of life on earth and his domestic policy will create a nation of pothead hippies.

Why would anyone be afraid of someone whos entire legislative output in a 20 year career is exactly one bill?

Most conservatives were afraid of Obama, and his legislative record was exactly

nothing.

Well, maybe if Rick Santorum and the other fake conservatives spent more of their time supporting Ron Paul’s intitiatives (like the Sanctitiy of Life Act) rather than endorsing pro-abortion politicians and policies, maybe just maybe some of Ron Paul’s initiatives would have passed.

The best thing that could happen now, is for Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich to destroy each other in the coming weeks, leaving Ron Paul last man standing.

Best Chance to Beat Obama – (CNN) Mitt Romney 55% Rick Santorum 18% Newt Gingrich 14% Ron Paul 7%
Mitt Romney leads in the Arizona Republican presidential primary with 38%. Romney is followed by Rick Santorum with 31%, Newt Gingrich with 15%, and Ron Paul with 11%.

Mitt Romney stands for whatever he thinks his audience wants to hear. He is afraid to take questions after speeches, he will not appear on serios conservative shows such as Beck and Levin, and his Ma. heath care law was the basis for the odious Obamacare. That doesn't even begin to consider the fierce attacks that will be coming against the origins and tenets of Mormonism.
Santorum is a fearless fighter, and he represents our best chance of driving the arrogant leftist from the WH, no matter what polls say.

Reminds me how the media had all these polls showing that Bush 1 had a better chance to beat Carter than RR did.🙂

Well, maybe the “fake conservatives” will give Paul a mulligan.

How many primaries has he won, again?

Delegates are what matters, scipio.

Do you know the difference between a caucus state and a primary state?

Do you even realize that Rick and Newt failed to make the ballot in Virginia and have serious ballot issues in other states?

The fact that the GOP elders have been deriding and marginalizing Ron Paul does not speak well for the future of the Party. The fact that a majority of GOP voters care more about charisma and rhetoric instead of a consistent record, does not bode well for the future of the Party.

In a very real sense, Kubark, YOU appear to be as hopelessly Utopian as the Obama acolytes. If you think that there is little REAL difference between the philosophies of a Santorum and an Obama, you're not listening. Do you think that a President Santorum would shut down coal mines and oil rigs, desire a "skyrocket"ing of electricity costs, or nix the Keystone pipeline? Notice gasoline prices? I hope that you spy a difference before America lay on the scrap heap of history. :( Rob

Santorum opens up a double-digit lead on Romney nationally.

In response Romney’s attack-dog Super-PAC goes berserk with desperate attack-ad frenzy.

So Santorum’s camp pokes fun at them for spending all their money mud-slinging instead of selling up their candidate.

Ah Scipio, did you vote for Rick Santorum?

I mean… you must have, seeing as he won every single county in Missouruh. 😉

P.S.
I did add a Prayers for RIck Santorum thread in Prayer Intentions. Just FYI.

Pray that he wins in Michigan… several media people are already saying Michigan could be Mitt Romney’s Waterloo. I pray it is so!!!

No fear of Ron Paul here. I will vote for him, if he is the nominee. That said, there is zero chance that he could end the federal income tax or Fed as President. The presidency is not all-powerful, and Congress would not work with him. His lack of ability to lead is one of the reasons I won’t be voting for him in the primaries.
I guess all that work that went into the Auditing the Fed bill, which got a lot of Democrat co-sponsors as well as Republican, went for naught?

It so happens that part of this plan is already in place.

Yes, I do. So, what are the delegates count? There are some that are pledged already, you know.

I don’t believe they’ve been deriding Paul, but aren’t you guilty of that same crime?

You suggest that anyone who disagrees with Paul’s stance is a “fake conservative”, or that they “care more about rhetoric instead of a consistant record”, and you have to wonder why Paul is written off by some?

An example is the caucus ruckus. Despite Paul not winning any states, some will try to win delegates because those delegates must know more than the “sheeple” who didn’t vote for Paul.

Why do people insist on calling Missouri Missourah???
Well escuse if I offended ya! You can feel free to refer to Alabama as “Alabamaw”. If you wish…

I do have to ask though… if you yourself voted for Rick Santorum as well?

I mean… he did win every county, in the state of MO there.

I just moved from out of state, and haven’t registered (or changed drivers licenses). :ouch:

It was a “beauty pageant” primary, anyways. None of the candidates excite me enough to motivate me to get it done in time.

Sad, but true!
