Oh, looks like there’s someone new on the DEEP STATE. Who’s Clinesmith? Drafted in the First Round?
Not so new. FBI lawyer pleading guilty to falsifying information used to support the FISA warrants against Carter Paige. He’s the first of more to come unless Biden is elected.

Re: Billionaire who hides his taxes
No law requires that he do it. This was a private Democrat lawsuit aimed at allowing them to pick and choose elements to misrepresent for propaganda purposes. I don’t blame him for not giving them to his enemies voluntarily.

Rural Electrification Act.
National highway system.
National Parks.
Libraries.
Fire Departments.
Federal Aviation Administration.
National Weather Service.
Municipal Sewers and Water.
etc.

No law required him to say that he would release his taxes, and yet he did. But apparently it’s OK for his word to mean nothing.
If he said that, there’s still time. If I were him I sure would not do it before the election, but that’s his choice.

Well, he started saying it in 2014. “If I decide to run for office, I’ll produce my tax returns, absolutely.” January, 2016, with Chuck Todd: “I have everything all approved and very beautiful and we’ll be working that over in the next period of time, Chuck,” Trump said. “Absolutely.”

And then he started hedging . . .

No. He probably meant them, though with a bit of hyperbole in some of them. Some are just literally true, like 2,3.

Did you require that he produce them at your schedule, or will you allow him to decide?

Of course he meant them. And that shows his self-aggrandizing, narcissistic mentality. Hyperbole? Or joke? Get real. And keep on reading his twitter rants. They open up his true personality for everyone.

And neither he nor anyone else can declare anything for “all times”.

How is it my schedule that he said “If I decide to run for office, I’ll produce my tax returns, absolutely?” Did I somehow force him to say that? If so, I’d certainly like to know how I managed that!

I have never yet heard him criticize Fox for having liberals on, even liberals who attack him.
That’s a very precise standard! Trump has not criticized the staff of Fox News but he certainly has criticized the organ’s critical comments about him. Plus, you ignore the obvious: Trump merits criticism. It has gotten to the point, after his multiple prevarications, exaggerations, misleading tweets and outright lies that what he says simply cannot be relied on. He has lost any credibility.

And why should he not be able to express himself about the media?
It smacks of petulance and narcissism, that’s all. A bigger man would take criticism or ignore it.

Anyone who votes for Biden is a statist.

an advocate of a political system in which the state(federal government in this case) has substantial centralized control over social and economic affairs.

Look at the Republicans that are supporting Biden, statist every single one of them.

if the Senate needs one more senator for them to get 50 votes in the Senate, Romney will switch parties. That is if Biden wins. If Trump wins and the senate needs 51 democrats Romney will change parties.

Anyone who votes for Biden is a statist.
…or perhaps just a person who recognized the existential threat Trump’s corrupting influence has.

Defintion of “statist”: an advocate of a political system in which the state has substantial centralized control over social and economic affairs.

The trick is figuring out how much control is “substantial.” Probably one person’s idea of “substantial” is not the same as another person’s. So without further qualification, it is impossible to say if being a statist is bad thing or not. What usually happens in such applications is that the stronger sense of the definition is used to establish that it is a bad thing, and then a weaker sense of the definition is used to establish that the term applies to the victim of the accusation - in this case certain Republicans.

Anyone who votes for Biden is a statist.
That is your opinion, your definition, and your judgement, all of which could be faulty. You know the heart of none but yourself. Such a sweeping statement is so ridiculous I cannot imagine any reason for making it except an attempt to bully people by name-calling. I got to admit it angers me for people who know nothing of me, or others who will vote for Biden, and will not vote for him, tell others what they are. Consider the Golden Rule. Do you want people to say that you are racist based on your vote, or a fascist, or really any derogatory name? A little more charity please.

I may well vote for him. I am not, by your definition a statist. Therefore, your statement is false.

Then I would question their judgment. Surely, nothing can compare to the enormous threat that almost any candidate from the Democrat Party would have on those who are still in the womb…no?
