@qui_est_ce , I’ve read your two posts above and don’t really want to get into a “OH, Yeah, well…” argument with you. I was attempting to have a meaningful discussion.
Usually you do make meaningful posts. But here you are going off the rails making emotional accusations. Trump is no worse on the environment than previous presidents.

Believe me, there’s plenty to criticize Trump with, but what you posted is not.
Of course Trump is worse on the environment than other presidents. His administration has weakened fuel efficiency standards for cars and trucks and has tried to strip California of the authority to set it’s own standards. More than 20 states have filed suit against the Trump administration over this roll back of tougher efficiency standards. And the Trump administration is set to soon open the National Arctic Wildlife Refuge in Alaska to oil drilling. And they’ve reduced the size of a number of national monuments. The list goes on…

I have asthma, so I’m concerned about this attempt to roll back efficiency standards which will just make pollution worse.

Retracting the ridiculous Obama standards is a step towards rationality, not a step back.

Obama’s goal of 55 mpg was a joke.

AND fuel standards are still increasing, just not as fast. They are not getting worse/lower.

What’s wrong with a fuel efficiency goal of 55 mpg? It was a goal to be reached by 2025. Are you saying that the US isn’t innovative enough to build cars with that kind of fuel efficiency within the next 25 years?

If pollution is a problem where you are, possibly your choice of places to live isn’t ideal.

The CAFE standards were bogus anyway. They’re based on a complex formula that results in an overstatement of mileage by about 20%. The only way automakers could meet them even now is by manufacturing small cars nobody wants in foreign countries like Mexico. Pickup trucks, very popular in the U.S. are exempt and don’t have very good mileage. By 2025, CAFE standards were set so high they couldn’t be met except by making the small cars even smaller, which increases traffic fatalities.

They were window dressing to please the environmentalists. I think Obama reduced them by 1 mpg over the Bush formula, but was widely praised for that, even though nothing really changed.

Crazy. Just bonkers.

What drugs would he test for? Adderall?

Would that be similar to banana Democrats don’t care whether the Obama administration weaponized the CIA and the FBI along with the DNC to purchase foreign national intervention in an election where they spied on the opposing parties candidates?

Where the banana Democrats don’t care about where laws were broken, evidence manipulated and forged to obtain illegal fisa warrants against American citizens in order to spy on a candidate and then an elected president?

Where government agents of the FBI and CIA illegally leaked material to the press in order to damage a sitting president?

Where agents of the FBI leaked material in a manner that misrepresented the timeline, sources and facts in such a manner as to give time to cover their tracks for their illegal activities from the American public?

Asking for a friend…

The FBI conducts investigations. It’s in their name.

Once again, investigations. Investigations. You know, to find all the Trump associates who have been convicted or pled guilty in the past 3 years.
Where government agents of the FBI and CIA illegally leaked material to the press in order to damage a sitting president?
Unlike the President’s own people who have leaked information? Sure seems like an awful lot of people have an awful lot of damaging information.

Oh yeah, I forgot how much Dems love their drugs. Asking to be tested is considered a mortal sin for those guys.
You do know it was Trump asking for the test, right?
By the way, any update as to when Biden is releasing his cognitive test results? I mean, we all know he failed, so he might as well just get it over with hahaha.
Please provide the link to the failed test results. We all apparently know it but, uhm, I don’t.

Translated: “Let 'em eat cake.”
" Residents in neighborhoods with the highest pollution scores also tend to be poorer, less educated and more often unemployed than those elsewhere in the country, AP found.

“Poor communities, frequently communities of color but not exclusively, suffer disproportionately,” said Carol Browner, who headed the Environmental Protection Agency during the Clinton administration when the scoring system was developed. “If you look at where our industrialized facilities tend to be located, they’re not in the upper middle class neighborhoods.”

. . . .I have a friend who moved to Arizona because the Ozarks have to be the “pollen capital of the world”. Lots of New Yorkers move to Florida. Californians move to Texas. There is a whole Italian community in NW Arkansas that was originally settled in the Arkansas River valley, but moved into the mountains to avoid malaria years ago.

Moving to a place that fits one better is not a subject for class warfare.

Industrialized facilities tend to be located near infrastructure resources like rivers and railroads. Neighborhoods around them are there because when they developed, transportation to work was by street car or shanks’ mare and couldn’t be distant.

I agree that Biden is a dementia patient, but Trump is honestly only marginally better.

I think Trump’s overall mental health, and his physical health, are more of a danger than dementia, per se.

Biden? I don’t know. He’s always been a little loopy.

I think the VP picks this time are more important than usual.

I’m a California native and don’t really want to move. But I just saw this in the New York Times last week:
California on Monday finalized a legal settlement with five of the world’s largest automakers that binds them to comply with its stringent state-level fuel efficiency standards that would cut down on climate-warming tailpipe emissions.

Monday’s agreement adds legal teeth to a deal that California and four of the companies outlined in principle last summer, and it comes as a rejection of President Trump’s new, looser federal rules on fuel economy, which would allow more pollution into the atmosphere.

Mr. Trump was blindsided last summer when the companies — Ford, Honda, BMW and Volkswagen — announced that they had reached a secret deal with California to comply with that state’s standards, even as the Trump administration was working to roll back Obama-era rules on fuel economy. A fifth company, Volvo, said in March that it intended to join the agreement and is part of the legal settlement that was finalized on Monday.
I think that’s good news for the environment and it looks like Mr. Trump is losing this fight.

Third night and the Republicans are knocking it out of the park! So uplifting and positive and inspiring! What a diverse group of speakers. I’m so encouraged about Trump taking another four years! The differences between the parties couldn’t be more stark.MAGA!🇺🇸

Joe will be high, probably on amphetamine of some sort. No doubt about it.
If Biden has dementia, an amphetamine wouldn’t improve his cognitive abilities during a debate. If taken late in the day, an amphetamine might keep someone awake all night which is no doubt why some students take them when they’re cramming for an exam. And doctors prescribe amphetamines to patients with narcolepsy and with ADHD. But unless Biden has one of those medical conditions or has to cram for the debate, I don’t know how an amphetamine would help him.

Personally, I don’t think he has dementia. He does have a childhood history of stuttering which I think contributes to verbal gaffes on his part. He could hardly be worse than George W. Bush, however:
