Even an evil person such as Hitler may have had some good ideas if he truly believed in a hybrid economic system, which I was not aware of. Needless to say, he also had other ideas which, to put it mildly, were less savory. To say that because Hitler was an evil individual that nothing he ever thought had any merit is, I think, fallacious. With regard to corporate infringement upon civil liberties, what about racial, religious, and gender discriminatory practices in business, housing, and the banking industry? One personal example: my late Jewish uncle worked for many years at Bell Laboratories although it had been their open policy not to hire Jews. He managed to circumvent the policy since his name was not of Jewish origin and he didn’t “look” Jewish. No, corporations have not killed people, and certainly not on the scale of a Hitler or a Stalin, but while you may not have been directly affected (or so you think), others, including workers and small business owners, have. Ever hear of the term “monopoly”?
