GOP chairman Charlie Webster to investigate ‘black people’ voting as potential fraud

McCain: Susan Rice ‘not very bright’ in Benghazi response

That last one is particularly galling. Susan Rice graduated as valedictorian of her class at the National Cathedral School in Washington, graduated Phi Beta Kappa Summa Cum Laude from Stanford University in California, was a Rhodes Scholar, and earned a PhD from Oxford University. In comparison to John Sidney McCain who graduated 894th out of 899 from Annapolis after getting in as a legacy riding on his father’s and grandfather’s coattails. He has some nerve questioning anyone’s intellect–especially after picking Sarah Palin as a running mate.

Black people do not eschew voting for Republicans because of those mythical “gifts.” They don’t vote for Republicans in large numbers because they know exactly what these wolves in sheeps clothing support!

Susan Rice may have even lied and McCain was being generous.

But not per your views!

She won’t replace Hillary as SOS. Thank goodness.

Wolves in sheep’s clorthing? are you calling people names??

Besides, blacks are 13% of the population and heading towards 10%. If anyone acts racist, it’s African Americans in general.

President Obama endorses 1 out of 3 black children being aborted.

This doesn’t sound hospitable to blacks.

President Obama endorses Planned Parenthood Clinics in 80% of Black neighborhoods, black pro lifers hate this.

President Obama endorses gay marriage, again, anathema to the black community where there are so many single parent familes.

See the news today? 28% increase in poverty for Hispanics, too, unemployment has risen for them and African Americans.

A black baby is 5 times more likely to be aborted than a white baby.

Wolves???

How is Obama’s back yard Chicago working per the Murder rate?

Wolves??

They are a hockey team there.

None of the stories articles has the title South Catholic puts in the title.

The names of news stories are suppose to be used I thought, not make up some title about the personal opinions of the poster which are already known.

This goes in Moral Theology or Social Justice.

Quite frankly, most African Americans could care less about pro-lifers raging about abortion. That issue was not one that was going to resonate with black voters.

If the GOP wants to attract black voters, they should try actually talking to black voters to find out what issues are important to them. I can tell you that arguing that black voters don’t vote for the GOP because they are too ignorant about what is in their best interests will do nothing to convince black voters to come over to your side. Your posts (and others) reek of an attitude that blacks are too immature to determine and act on their own political beliefs. That attitude is paternalistic, insulting, and off-putting. Continuing to spout the things you have posted in this thread BroomWagon will do nothing but continue to turn black voters off to your point-of-view! But go ahead and keep talking if it makes you feel better!

OTOH, has anyone looked into how or why the percentage of white male population is shrinking? Hmmmm.

Please do tell!

Veiled racism, barriers to jobs, disparaging commentary based on race, discrimination in hiring, loans, opportunity, etc.

Those are all still quite alive despite protestations to the contrary - and are disproportionately supported by conservative Republicans in veiled and careful phraseology unless they think they are in safe quarters. I’ve personally heard it or had emails etc, too often.

I’ve also found feigned ignorance disturbingly common.

:rotfl:

You should stay off the Democratic Underground.

While I chuckle at “feigned ignorance”, I laugh with morose glee at petulant and obtuse mischaracterization.

Susan Rice won’t be secretary of state because she misstated what Benghazi is about… and those are polite terms. 4 Americans died.

Compare her to John McCain who spent years in a prison in Vietnam.

I believe the phrase you are looking for is: “I’m shocked! Shocked!! To find that there [is someone pointing out the obvious,] here”

Apologies to the writers of Casablanca and a nod to its mendacious character, Capitaine Louis Renault.

SouthCatholic are you alleging McCain is a racist because he said Susan Rice was not very bright in her response to Benghazi? He is referring to her going to I believe 5 different shows and saying the attack was due to a video that had been online for months and had estimated 300 views

Romney was not talking about African Americans specifically, he was talking about many people, diverse in ethnicity. People have talked of how it was difficult to compete with Obama when he was offering free stuff to attract various groups: for those under 26 - staying on parents insurance till 26; single women - free contraception; Hispanics - temporary DREAM act months before the election

That is what Romney meant

One of the ironies of the Obama re-election is that Obama has done exactly nothing for black people during his first term except, one supposes, being a black man in that high office, undoubtedly a source of pride for many black people.

But otherwise…nothing. He has, in fact, spent more of our money on white women than he has for blacks of either gender.

Yes, and you say this in a thread that was written to debase Republicans, that was outside of the rules here.

Why don’t people see the hypocrisy.

I think I know what the problems are, people don’t care about the rules. Does that ring a bell?

How about this Democrat in this article??

You supplied anecdote and again, here is an argument that is on quicksand and basically meant to inflame and nothing more.
