Thank you so much for the beautiful updates.

I hope you continue to send the e-mails to this forum. There will always be new readers who would be very inspired by the e-mails.’

I loved reading Frances de Sales’ description of our crosses that God picked just for us. Somehow, it makes carrying our crosses a bit easier. I am very eager to get to heaven to find out why God chose my particular crosses for me. I’ll have to learn to treasure my crosses knowing that God is absolutely certain they are perfect matches for the person He made me to be.

does the cartoon shows how their habits will look like? just wondering. and if it is, it’s wonderful

Got a question for Sister Rosiland?

Call her today between 4 and 5pm Pacific time on the Catholic Answers radio show. You can listen right here by clicking the “listen” button on the homepage. She will most likely let us know if the bishop has set a date for blessing her community.

I just heard that Sister Rosalind is going to be speaking at a conference in St. Louis in October. Does anyone know if David Moss is related to her?

David Moss is her brother. They also have another sister, who is also Christian, but not Catholic. David became Catholic before Rosalind did, and she spent some time trying to save him from the Church… 🙂

The cartoon image is actually from microsoft clipart, but I believe it’s not far off from what Sr. Rosalind has in mind for the new order.

I’m thrilled to see all the interest in Rosalind Moss’ new religious community. The story of her conversion to the Catholic Church played a major role in my own conversion 11 years ago.

Praying for her and her sisters…

Sr. Rosalind, she fell on September 22, and fractured her pelvis. She will not
be speaking at the conference in St. Louis October 1st weekend per the schedule on the AHC website. Please remember her in your prayers - this is a very painful type of injury.

I’m so sorry to hear about Sr. Rosalind’s injury. I’ll certainly be praying for her, and I’m sure many others will be as well.

I heard about her accident on Monday, while watching the EWTN Daily Mass online.

It was mentioned after the announcement of the passing of Father Thomas Dubay.

Poor Sister Rosalind-I hope that she can make a full recovery.

Praying. Heard about it from others I know, who’d heard it from EWTN, and then a bit more information from her brother, David Moss.

This is painful, and there isn’t a lot that can be done but to allow the fracture to heal, but there is usually full healing. I am praying for her. She will be missed at the Conference, I am sure.

Also pray for Marty and Irene Barrack, please. Prayers for the Conference itself are also needed.

God bless!

Heard she is walking now with cane. Has anyone heard anymore about
whether or not Archbishop Carlson approved her going forward?

I think we have an answer!

Community Moving Sale!!
Fri. & Sat. • November 19 & 20 • 7am to 7pm
BIG

Furniture • Holiday Gifts • Religious Items • Household Items
Infant, Childrens, & Adult Clothing • Tons More!

Dear Friends,
We are having a Community Moving Sale at the Convent at the Parish of St. George in Affton - Friday & Saturday, November 19 & 20, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Notice of the sale has been sent to parishes in time to be included in parish bulletins for this coming Sunday, November 14.
Because we consider you our local St. Louis family, we wanted to get this notice to you in advance to let you know about the sale, and also to say that we would welcome any contributions of furniture, household items, clothing - anything at all - you may wish to contribute. Aside from “suggested donations” on larger items, we are letting folks give whatever they wish for any item, from Christmas wrapping paper to prayer kneelers to kitchen and living room furniture.
If you’ve not been to the convent before, you should have no trouble spotting us - we’ll have a large sign out for the sale with our favorite nun and the message: “Help us move to our new home and bring religious habits back to the streets!” It will be wonderful to see you there.

God bless you,

Sister Rosalind Moss

According to her radio show on 2/2/11, she has found a new home under the Bishop of the Tulsa OK diocese. Sounds like a great fit!

If you scroll to the bottom on the right side there is a picture of Sr. Rosalind next to the interviewer for St. Joseph Radio which was done very recently.
