Roy Moore Accuser Admits Doctoring Yearbook Signature

“Moore has said called the signature completely false, and has requested a handwriting expert look at the yearbook.”
Foxnews has retracted the Forgery part. This whack job News outlets are rehashing Fox News original article. Not the retract.

How would you like most threads to turn into a battle about “Priests that have sexually assaulted Children”?
This is irrelevant JoshuaIsLord.

First of all, Doug Jones isn’t a ministerial priest.

Second of all, even if he were, you don’t proverbially tar and feather all ministerial priests because of the few bad ones.

Third, is the fact that Doug Jones ADMITS he supports child abuse and woman abuse in the form of abortion (although in his attempting to fool you and others, he would not phrase his abortion support this way).

. . . Jones’s extremist positions on abortion are well-known. In an MSNBC interview, he said he wouldn’t support a ban on abortion after the 20th week of gestation. He has since tried to temper his views, telling AL.com that “the law for decades has been that late-term procedures are generally restricted except in the case of medical necessity. That’s what I support" . . .

But what about people who don’t necessarily support Moore, but think he still deserves to have more facts brought out beyond what has been leveled?
I am agreeing with you that people supporting Moore will not be shamed out of their support. Sadly.

I certainly understand that some people was concerned about the rush, and would like more time and more facts. I am skeptical, however, of those who exhibit this caution for only for conservatives and Republicans, but are more than a little hasty when it comes for their opponents. (Lock her up, ring a bell?).
And what about Doug Jones who openly supports child abuse and women abuse in the manner that I have described (And gave 59 million reasons WHY this needs to be taken into consideration too)?
I think that you language is inflammatory and, far worse, counterproductive ot the pro-life cause.

The main obstacle to making progress on abortion is that the majority of people do not think about abortion the way that you do. If your strategy is to eke out a narrow political majority and impose legislation that enforces your minority ideas on a population that largely disagrees with - that strategy will fail, and discredit those behind it. Then what?

I think that there is more to be gained by working to win over adversaries, and in near time find common ground, than to declare them as hideously evil and try vanquish them.

If your strategy is to . . .
You keep doing this dvdjs.

You keep looking at everyone else’s perspectives as being merely political.

Being pro-life is a world view that goes beyond the political spectrum.

What do you think an “abortion” is dvdjs?

(Later I will ask you how YOU want to present the argument in favor of life [and I am glad to see you implicitly supporting life here dvdjs–keep up the good work], but for now, I just want to know what you think an “abortion” is.)

I don’t.
But I do look at people who support a putative child molester for US Senate vote moderate opponent, because of the latter’s support for legal access to abortion as being political, though not necessarily merely political.

It would be probably make more sense for you to avoid posting your imaginings about what I think and stick to things that you know.

Are you talking about supporters of Doug Jones, Roy Moore, or both?

Dvdjs to Cathoholic:
Why do you ask what I think? How is that germane to the argument about what Jones thinks, or what will help turn around the opinion of the American public?
You are the one that was criticizing me here the way I am attempting to advance life causes.

So I figure . . . OK. Let’s see here the way dvdjs advances pro-life causes.

But first we need to get our definitions defined.

So now you can go ahead and tell me dvdjs . . .
What do you think an “abortion” is dvdjs?

I criticized your rhetoric not your position, and certainly not you personally. It is, moreover, not nearly as clear that you were advancing anything on this thread than the candidacy of Roy Moore. That is not inappropriate, as Roy Moore is the topic of the thread.

My thoughts on abortion align with the teaching of the Catholic Church. But my thoughts on abortion are in no way the topic of this thread.

That’s fine.

My position is Roy Moore deserves a fair hearing in the proverbial court of public opinion.

Furthermore my position is Moore has not gotten that fair hearing . . . at least completely.

My position also includes what most people here (who have been falsely besmirched here as supporters of child molesters running for office) hold . . . .

. . . that woman abuse and child abuse and child molestation are completely unacceptable.

And my position is ALSO killing innocent pre-born babies IS ABUSIVE to women and ABUSIVE to girls, and ABUSIVE to the innocents being killed. . . .

. . . . And THIS is ALSO completely unacceptable.

And my position is Doug Jones OPENLY SUPPORTS these atrocities, so WHY THE sharp criticism here of posters that DON’T necessarily support Moore, but DO support Moore being able to defend himself?

(It suggests they are concerned about politics over principles. Which is hypocrisy.)

And I have not yet received any reasonable answers.

I won’t be persuaded by people merely ASSUMING Roy Moore is guilty.

Well, let’s see, first Moore said that he always asked for the mother’s permission to date and then he doesn’t know any of them and we know that’s a lie. I’m not sure what you expect to be revealed that will exonerate Moore given that has lied about the basic facts.

Those who choose to ignore the facts of this case or continuously post propaganda from right wing sources are supporters of Moore and hence supporters of child abuse.

Well, Moore has been defending himself. He has lied and his supporters ignore those lies. I’m sorry for repeatedly pointing this out, but no one here is stopping Moore from defending himself, but it’s worth remembering he’s lied about this situation and that’s worth keeping in mind when his defenses are brought up.

Now, again, if you want to vote for a child molester because you don’t like his opponent’s stance on abortion, just be honest about it and stop pretending there is serious doubt about Moore’s guilt.

This is exactly (some of) the dishonest shenanigans I have been alluding to.

How is it dishonest? The evidence against Moore is very strong and he has lied about the case, so his testimony isn’t reliable. Maybe you should learn a bit more about the facts of the case instead of insisting that reasonable people can have doubt.
