I suppose it’s a sin which defies reason, defies our bodily nature, not only faith as applies to the other sins listed.Exactly! Why this one sin gets singled out I don’t know.

Um, no. No we don’t.Everyone, including you, automatically assumes that sodomy is a whole different beast than even adultery or fornication.
It’s also something I never chose to be attracted too. Why am I attracted to men and committing certain acts with them? I dont know. I understand it’s perverted, but I struggle with it, and it doesn’t help if people treat me differently. In some cases (not you) Christians call people who experience SSA, like me, savage animals, and should be persecuted, when we havent done anything.Everyone knows that homosexuality is gross, weird, and perverted.
For the couple engaged in a same sex sexual relationship, there is no means to retain a sexual relationship and yet conform with moral teaching. The same sex sexual relationship is irreformable. That is a distinction with the other sins you address. They are all wrong for the same reason: sex being deployed to ‘unnatural’ ends.
Not if the sodomites are male and female. For the couple engaged in a same sex sexual relationship, there is no means to retain a sexual relationship and yet conform with moral teaching. The same sex sexual relationship is irreformable. That is a distinction with the other sins you address
Umm - not if they are your relatives it’s not - the scenario posted by the OP.Because it presents a visible display of disorder. Serial monogamy is invisible. The disorder are of different degrees. Just sayin’
That’s why people respond differently
OK deleted…I go through all the trouble of deleting my post becauee I think, ‘you know what, not the right time or place’ and then you quote the whole thing…
I agree with Spyridon. What you quoted from the Gospel has absolutely nothing to with allowing children to be subjected to openly homosexual displays of affection. Your interpretation really is perverted.I think ‘intensely perverted’ is a bit strong. I would say it’s ‘another point of view’ and that the Gospel isn’t black and white.
Children see many displays of affection. It is the world they live in. D you think God has not made it possible for them to discern goodness? What sort of limited, stunted Gd do you believe in?I agree with Spyridon. What you quoted from the Gospel has absolutely nothing to with allowing children to be subjected to openly homosexual displays of affection. Your interpretation really is perverted.
No. They may reform their sexual acts and yet remain in a sexual relationship. Not if the sodomites are male and female.
Who needs the good example of parents with this thinking?Do you think God has not made it possible for them to discern goodness?
Do you think it will turn them gay? Does seeing a drunk person turn them alcoholic or seeing a cigarette make them a smoker. Grow up.allowing children to be subjected to openly homosexual displays of affection.
