Well aren’t we supposed to emulate Christ?
John 10:25
Revelation 2:5
Revelation 3:15
John 10:25
John 10:32Jesus answered them, "I told you, and you do not believe. The** works** that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness to me;
John 10:37Jesus answered them, “I have shown you many good** works** from the Father; for which of these do you stone me?”
John 10:38If I am not doing the** works** of my Father, then do not believe me;
Oh, yeah, and then there’s :but if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the** works**, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father."
Revelation 2:5
Revelation 2:23Remember then from what you have fallen, repent and do the** works** you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.
Revelation 3:2…And all the churches shall know that I am he who searches mind and heart, and I will give to each of you as your** works** deserve.
And the coup de grace:Awake, and strengthen what remains and is on the point of death, for I have not found your** works** perfect in the sight of my God.
Revelation 3:15
Our level of faith is apparent to Jesus by our works. An absence of works, unless invincibly ignorant to the Bible, is indicative of an absence of faith."`I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth.
