You should really watch the video. The documentary was actually interesting, btw.

And they’ll find they didn’t miss anything should they have spent their time learning piano or another instrument, perfecting the English, Latin, and other Romance languages, or doing whatever other God given talent they’d likely poses rather than wasting time watching drivel made by people who don’t care about your children and are only out to make money. If I have children their raison d’etre will be to do good in the world; I will not be raising standard morons placed in front of a television playing whatever some network scheduler decides is appropriate in order to give mom and dad a “break.”

This kind of reminds me of the swine that jumped into the ocean. And Lion King.

That’s totally cool. I’m sure your imaginary, perfect, future children will be very intelligent and never bother you or give any trouble or ever beg to watch cartoons like their friends.

I loved Scooby-Doo when I was younger. It never did anything to me!

They did have that one episode based on the Saw franchise…

I hope you don’t have kids because you don’t sound like a parent I would want to have. I also managed to learn 12 years of classical piano and other instruments, Latin, other subjects while still enjoying a lot of fun TV shows. The two things aren’t mutually exclusive.

Keep telling yourself that, CB. Keep telling yourself that.
😉

Me, I liked Scooby-Doo. Some of the newer ones irked me when the magic was actually real and not just fake. (It’s better to have a “so that’s how they did it.” In fact, I was annoyed with one old episode even when a flying sword wasn’t explained.) And I’ll also agree I don’t see what would be wrong with Scooby.

I love Scooby-Doo! In fact I’m wearing a Scooby-Doo tee and sitting by a Scooby-Doo pillow. I don’t think it’s corrupted me that much, even if I am a little odd 😃
