Recommend studying libertarian.

Criminal codes have gradually become more severe. More behaviors are now felonies.
 
maybe Dershowitz sees the civil liberties being violated against Donald Trump could be violated against all Americans.
 
We should listen to others. They could have good ideas. They could cause you to think in a new way.

Listening does not mean agreeing.

Dershowitz is a renowned constitutional lawyer. He is a civil libertarian. Right now, I think he’s an addition to the national dialogue because in the last three years we have seen serious governmental infringement on civil liberties. I would believe that whether Dershowitz shared the belief or not.

When a liberal like him shares the concern, that ought to tell us it’s something we should be paying attention to. It’s not a one-party thing.

Never did I say that.

Because he is a liberal saying something a lot of non-liberals are saying, (and which liberals used to say a lot) and because I have thought this for a long time, I think it’s time for more liberals to wake up to the danger presented by rogues within powerful agencies of the government. That has nothing to do with partisan politics.

Contrary to what you’re saying, I believe it is only because those out-of-control organs of government are attacking Trump that liberals are not alarmed.
 
Did anyone see the rather heated discussion between Dershowitz and two other constitutional lawyers on “The Week…” yesterday? He got pretty nasty, let me tell ya.

His campaign IS being investigated. But frankly, the indictments and convictions to date only tell me that the prosecution knows FBI tools very well. They could indict you for what you did yesterday, no matter how innocent it was. I think that’s the big lesson we all ought to take from these events. Law enforcement people have to be more impartial than ours have been for some time.
 
That would probably be more of the truth than the Reps take that the Deep State is against them.

They believe he should be listened to, because he supports their side currently and is currently giving talking points on Fox News?
 
Since it would obviously raise your blood pressure to possibly dangerous levels, you probably should not listen. However, don’t get upset when people have the same reaction to you.

Although, you are probably missing several OMG, hold your sides laughing moments if you really think they are that silly.
