still praying
The Lord bless you and keep you in the palm of His hand.Round two begins today. I have been struggling with all of this, which brings en entirely new meaning to Jesus’ agony in the garden. I can draw inspiration from our Savior’s plea that “this chalice might pass me by”. All who struggle in their lives are in the most excellent company here. A blessed and spirit-filled Holy Week to all of you.

Jim, thank you for your update wish that my aunt will have strength like yours.Continuing thanks to my brothers and sisters who support me with prayer! The retreat was a wonderful experience, with lots of opportunity for prayer and reflection. Father also held a healing service and laid hands on all who presented themselves. There was overnight adoration and we all spent a lot of time before our Lord.
Yesterday, I had round one of the experimental drug. The side effects are much less than standard chemo, but are different as well, so I need to acclimate myself to a new set of effects. God is good, for which I am thankful each day. I take not one breath without his grace. All praise be to God in the highest, and many thanks to all of you, my true brothers and sisters in Christ. Amen! Alleluia!

Thank you and may God bless you, Gary. In my weakness, I am comforted that our Savior also struggled in the garden. I pray for the strength to continue on, even if my destination is my own Golgotha. All praise to the Holy Spirit if anything I have ever uttered had any wisdom or inspirational value in it.Jim,
Just wanted to let you know that I wrote about you on my blog tonight:

You have been a true inspiration to me and I wanted to ask for prayers for your healing. I also feel that it will do my readers good to see what it means to accept God’s will. I’ll continue to pray…Thanks for continuing to teach us!
God Bless,
Gary
