Well, not like it’s vain disputation, but let’s just say not up to delving into it for lack of time and energy at the moment.( you suggested reading a certain14 chapters).I mean look at how hard it is to get a simple answer as to what is the great white throne judgement.

But really just no time at the moment.

Yes you did. After a little research I now see that. Still doesn’t answer the point of receiving any rewards/ merit at the judgement day (whatever your view of such a day) besides where etetnal life will be spent.

So there is “a difference in our merits”? If one can lose merit for heaven why can’t one lose merit on levels?

Is not our walk in the state of flux, that we are to increase in grace, and or even stand in it or persevere (and that the opposite can happen)? Even hell’s fires can be increased or decreased by our conduct if destined for hell. I do not find it unreasonable that Paul may be referring to such merit or demerit movement but still be heaven bound.

When he speaks of being disqualified from what he preaches to others, it’s clear he’s not talking about rewards. He’s talking about heaven or hell.
 
You can choose to assume the best in people, or the worst. As Christians is not our job the former?

“Better to trust in the LORD than to trust in man.”

God said “Love your neighbor.” Trust wasn’t part of the equation.

Yes many say this. Yet in the verse before the verse of possible loss he cites certitude of the prize.
 
Hard to live in harmony with one another without trusting them. Especially when they’re a fellow Believer. But, this is certainly the path our country is on today, so you’re in good company.

And if you like the connection of new to old, beware of the bad doctrine of those who sit in Moses seat, of supposed spiritual leaders…do not trust them blindly.

Don’t trust me either, but see if what I say isn’t so and likewise.

As has been suggested above, maybe it is better to trust but verify if you please. That is, take each others views for examination in good faith rather than bad?

PS…lol…you did tell me to read an entire chapter of Romans and the entire book of Hebrews, and that is where I kind of “ran out of time and energy” and forced my “cop out”.
