It has come to the point now where Mohammed, the man or the myth, absolutely NEEDS to be the focus of debate and/or criticism. This is not about people’s comfort zones any more, because Mohammed is the focal point upon which militant Islamism rests…
It is neither mockery, nor hatred, nor out of line to state in no uncertain terms a resounding NO! to those aims.
Pamela Geller at least is clear on where she stands on the issue. Catholics who are too uncomfortable to enter into this kind of conversation, by definition, cannot be clear.
We know as Christians that all people are made in the image and likeness of God. That means all people. Ahh even Muslims.
So out of 318. million people who live in USA.
There are around 3 to 7 million who are Muslims.
Our country is very diverse and we have around 64 million Catholics.
More than 80 percent of roman Catholics use birth control (which can be an abortifacient ). Around 28.1 percent of Roman Catholic women have had abortions. I think we Catholics desperately need to be evangelized.
37% of women obtaining abortions identify themselves as Protestant, and 28% identify themselves as Catholic (AGI).
At current rates, nearly one-third of American women will have an abortion (AGI).

** Since 1973 we have had over 57 million abortions as a nation. **
So what does this have to do with Muslims or extremists-- Let’s clean up our own nation before we can “smoke” out the radical Muslims by using arrogance, and violence. We are in the Easter Season still. Our life is very short and we need to be Alleluia people. I am not going to judge Pamela as I have in the other posts. I will pray for her. The most important thing in life is if I am pleasing to God.
Abortion is just as cruel a Jihad — and we have let it go on for decades now.
Instead of “smoking” out the Muslims why not take in the middle eastern refugees who are starving out there because of ISIL – Why not do something now instead of drawing stupid, small minded cartoons— As a nation do we have nothing better to do with our time (on a Sunday no less) then to have contests against a religion?
Bye-- I’m living in the Joy of the resurrection and if I have said anything in a bigoted way towards anyone or towards a Muslim – I sincerely ask forgiveness – If any Muslims are reading this–Get to know Our Lady of Fatima and what she asks all people to do. Believe me Jesus is worth eternal life and we have martyrs to prove that – right now! Alleluia!
