Rolling on the floor laughing. Okay, just laughing. Only the dog gets to roll on the floor. Did you miss the word Sex in the title?

I still enjoy Danger Man. The character of John Drake and how his work was presented, was quite good. And he was a gentleman and treated women well.

My last off-topic post. I learned that Number Six was once referred to by an old code name used by John Drake.

I wouldn’t know anything about that show either. But it’s nice to see someone has a sense of humor about my sexist jokes. My wife and I have a great relationship. She’ll say, “I can do that” and I’ll say, “But you’re a girl!” And she’ll say “But you’re a guy and guess who’s cooking your dinner tonight!” Or my favorite thing to say to her is, “That’s so easy even a girl can do it.”

I don’t know tuition costs in the UK, but here in America millions of students are in thousands of dollars of debt by the time they graduate. And many can’t even find a job in the field they majored in. Others go to college just because it’s been drilled into them that that’s what they have to do, even though they don’t know what they want to major in yet. They waste a lot of money and years on college, only to do something that didn’t require a degree in the first place.

Don’t get me wrong, college is wonderful and it’s good to get a higher education. But while the benefits of college are always touted, the possible negatives always seem to be left in the dust. Some are better obviously pursuing a degree (doctors, lawyers, nurses, etc.) but for others it actually might be more beneficial for them to go a different path. It really depends on the person.

Fortunately, we live in the Information Age, with the internet. We can learn about art, history, philosophy, any time we want from anyone we want. All the informations right there. It also gives you more perspectives from different sources, rather than one professor who most likely is a Marxist.

I clicked this yesterday after you mentioned it and wish I hadn’t . This is where people trying to bring down the church get their ammunition. That is probably the most charitable thing I can say about it

“Should women be treated as equals?”

Well, of course not. They are not equal…

They ARE superior. Should be treated accordingly.

While not every man might admit it - every man does know it.

Yes, treated as equals but also treated different. Men and women are equal but men and women are different.

equality for women.
Equality of opportunity? 100% support

Or

Equality of outcome? 100% oppose
So if a man and a woman have equal opportunities to become doctors, then you’d support that. But if the outcome is that they both become doctors…?

Colour me confused.

While I appreciate that your comment comes from a good place, I don’t agree with it. I am not superior to any man, insofar as any person is inherently superior to another by virtue of something completely outside their control, such as their height, sex, hair colour, etc.

Are there negatives in a woman earning a degree?
The Church rightly condemns contraception as a serious sin, yet 99% of clergy and religious encourage women to get their hands on one of the most devastating contraceptives ever invented - a university degree.

It’s a fact that, in general, the more a woman is educated, the less offspring she tends to have. This is one reason why many Islamic societies are vehmently opposed to the education of females - it is correctly identified as an existential threat to survival.

Feminsim hates women, because feminsim hates motherhood. Feminism preaches that motherhood is an impediment to women becoming “fulfilled” - ie, women can only be fulfilled if they become more like men. Feminism is grossly unnatural, deadly, satanic madness masquerading as equality.

It seems that they are not the only ones vehemently opposed to the education of women.
.
Thanks for joining the discussion and putting forward your views to a wider audience, Ed.

Are you also opposed to nuns Ed?

They most likely are educated and have no children.

Is giving birth the sole purpose of a woman?
