Have to jump in again. in response to another post. Since when are people’s prospects for marriage slim or none after age 40? I am approaching 50 and have a gentleman who is interested, also of the same age. (We will have to seek annulllments should we decide to marry, but in the meantime pursue many enjoyable times together–NOT living in sin.) Age is what you make of it. I may be 48 but I am not ready to retire to a rocking chair and neither is my gentleman friend. (In fact, I am too young for the Red Hat Ladies by two years, but when they let me in, I’ll be painting the town!!")
