Melania had the Pope bless her personal rosary when in Rome. Since she lived in a country that practiced communism when she was young, we are not sure of her religious upbringing. Hopefully, someday during an interview perhaps she will address these issues.

We are all on our spiritual journeys. I personally have been Episcopalian, agnostic, contemplated converting to Judaism after studying for almost a year, then an Anglican for 6 months and then finally a Catholic. This, of course, was over 65 years. For most of my 65 years I was not a practicing Christian as far as belonging to any church. And it is because of judgmental posts like what I read here that remind me of why I was a nonpracticing Christian.
Her press secretary seems to know Melania is Catholic.

I hear you about the posts here though. The judgmental posts of a Catholic reading my heart and the hearts of others as having hate in them because we post our opposition to a politician named Trump, reminds me of one reason why I am a non practicing Catholic.

Not the case that the parents would have to become confirmed (or received) members of the Episcopal Church in order to have a child baptized.
My Dad was Catholic and my Mom was Lutheran so I assumed they both became
Episcopalians for my sister and I to be baptized as babies. We had godparents who
had to be Episcopalians so I assumed the parents would also or at least one parent.

I thought you were Episcopalian. I guess I had you confused with another poster.

When someone posts hateful comments about the president and his family all day
everyday it is hard to not come to another conclusion.

First of all when someone posts comments which do not support Donald Trump, it is a huge leap to hate. Maybe try harder.

The tone of the posts about our new president and his wife and family and his administration since last November has been beyond anything I have ever seen before.

A poster here even posted a prayer intention for the impeachment of President Trump. I believe it has since been deleted or closed.

These threads ridiculing and mocking Trump, his family and administration are posted everyday.

He can do nothing without posters finding criticism. It is nonstop.

I don’t know if there will be a political forum on the new CAF. I really hope not because without moderators, those who are resisting everything about will
take over. And if that happens I won’t bother to stick around.
He was duly elected and should be given a chance to prove himself.
