Long story short, my husband is battling renal failure and we’re in the process of finding a suitable kidney for transplant.
I am praying fervently every day that we have a true conversion of heart, come to a healing place where my husband receives a new kidney and a new lease on life, and we grow to be a happy, honest, trusting and God-loving wife and husband. Only good can come from here.
I’m sorry for all you’re going through. Might I suggest praying the chaplet of Divine Mercy? Jesus gave it to St. Faustina and said to pray it for all but especially for the sick. There’s a link in my signature if you’re not familliar with it. :hug1:
Prayers for all who post in this thread. May we and all those we love remain in the center of God’s will for our lives.
PRAYER TO ST. MONICA
Dear St. Monica,
troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant me that same fortitude, patience,
and trust in the Lord.
Intercede for me, dear St. Monica,
that God may favorably hear my plea for
(personal intentions and the intentions of all on this thread)
and grant me the grace to accept His Will in all things,
through Jesus Christ, our Lord,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever.
Amen.
St. Monica, St. Augustine, and Servant of God Elisabeth Leseur, pray for us!
