But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:14
All good is from God.

The rest is not. One has to consider if this includes comments that do not foster the Love of our fellow man.

God bless and regards Tony

Hi Techno,

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.(Mat 4:9)

Whatever you believe we need peacemakers in this world. The more of them the better.
Muhammad was not a peacemaker, nor was his legacy peace.

This is incorrect and again proves one needs to study the Koran and the message of Muhammad.

These Bible passages also needs to be considered what is the result of** Mans rejection of Gods Peaceful Message** This is because all these passages foretell of the result of our waywardness of not accepting God and His Prophets and not that God approves of them.

Matthew 10:34“Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35“For I came to SET A MAN AGAINST HIS FATHER, AND A DAUGHTER AGAINST HER MOTHER, AND A DAUGHTER-IN-LAW AGAINST HER MOTHER-IN-LAW; 36and A MAN’S ENEMIES WILL BE THE MEMBERS OF HIS HOUSEHOLD.

Luke 12:51"Do you suppose that I came to grant peace on earth? I tell you, no, but rather division; 52for from now on five members in one household will be divided, three against two and two against three.…

This is about when The Antichrist comes into the world.

True, but the big one is coming soon.
A study of the Koan, will help you to note that this has also passed and is unfloding as we speak 😉

I can assure you there has been great toil-moil as per the biblical passages and it is still continuing!

Tony, you do know that “The Antichrist” and “The Second Coming of Jesus Christ” go hand and hand … Right ?

Blessed are the peacemakers well that includes a lot of people.

To want to,promote love and unity between east and west, Christian and Muslim that’s trying to be a peacemaker and the pope is trying to do that along with others.

I think the Bible is simply stating that people who try to do that are blessed.

Both Christianity and Islam have a violent past but both faiths are not faiths of war.

To defend against genocide which Muhammad did diesnt make Him a war monger but a protector of His people.

This is where there’s misinformation. Muhammad was not an aggressor but a defender of the oppressed. He was indeed a peacemaker by stopping massacres on the innocent.

Sura 22:40

40 …If God did not repel some people by means of others, many monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques, where God’s name is much invoked, would have been destroyed.

Muhammad wanted to destroy all of Christendom .

Hi Techno,

Nothing could be further from the truth.

You only have to see the Covenants He made with the Christians to see that.

Whatever we believe it’s now that we need peace. Humanity is tired of war not to mention the cost. We need to put our grievances and mistrust and suspicions aside and start anew and establish world peace and we can only do this if we all forgive each other and leave the past in the past.

If Muslims cannot do this and Christians cannot then there will be another world war and then both sides will be forced to make peace after massive destruction.

I can read the bible but I can also see the life of Muhammad and his legacy. The wiping out of Christendom from the middle east is his legacy which continues to this day. North Africa, Constantinople, Palestine and Egypt. At one point Christians lived there, now they don’t and we see why.

I want to ask you tony, did the entirety of islamic population and islamic leaders after Muhammad fail to read the Quran carefully? Did they fail to read the life of the so called Prophet?

Consequently are you going to accuse Christians after Christ of not warring against those who were not Christian? Are you going to condemn monks, priests and lay people who suffered under various persecutions at various times and tell me Constantine, the Kings of Christendom and etc were the true upholders of Christ’s words?

Don’t just accuse me of misunderstanding Islam and then quote often repeated verses to draw an equivalence. I know how Christians use those verses and I know how the church treats them. I also know how Muslims interpret their own Quran and it is not peaceful, it is the complete establishment of God’s law, Sharia on the willing and the unwilling, to the entire world is Islamic. Can you deny this? Good luck denying reality if you can.

The Trinity God is in full control of these End times, Man alone cannot accomplish anything.

Aren’t two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Father’s consent.

Hi Martin,

I’m a great believer in the good in people because we are all created in the image of God so essentially we are all one human family and God is our Father.

We can all get along if we don’t dwell too much on our differences. I think peace will come for sure because there are so many good people in the world.

Dear friend the trouble is for me why use Jesus words? You wouldn’t know what Jesus said without the Church who put experiences with Jesus together as Scripture How does that work? Are you telling Muslims to follow the Church?

Dear IgnatianPhilo, the answer to all those questions are available if you wish to research. Not for this thread though.

It may be worth reflecting on the Jews were dispersed and now the Muslims are being dispersed as well, so this type of event is common for Faiths of God.

I would also argue that in the Koran, the Old Testament Prophets are upheld as is Jesus the Christ, so it has not been wiped out only the Frame of Reference Changed.

We can accept and believe in each other’s religion and many already do.

There are two parts to any religion.
  1. The spiritual teachings such as love one another, justice, mercy, compassion, forgiveness etc
  2. Social laws revealed for each age which are only for a certain time Those laws are often discarded when they are no longer of any use.
But we can accept the golden thread that runs through every faith and still be loyal and faithful to our own beliefs. Why not?
