Correction… It says Matthew 24:11 “Many false prophets will arise; they will deceive many,” . It doesn’t say more prophets are to come. Its saying false prophets will come. So you saying " So that means true prophets will come" isn’t necessarily true
You wouldn’t have been give given the criteria of the good and bad tree if no prophets were to come.

You would have just been told point blank to reject everybody. But Jesus says ‘by their fruits Ye shall know them’. There would be no need for this formula if there was no true prophets appearing.

1 John 4:1-8 :

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that ]does not confess that[a] Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. 6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

The Quran acknowledges Jesus coming in the flesh in this world and is honoured.

3:45 When the angels said, “O Mary, truly God gives thee glad tidings of a Word from Him, whose name is the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, high honored in this world and the Hereafter,

The Koran as stated above does Testify of Christ as does the Baha’i writings as follows;

Baha’u’llah, Abdul’Baha and Shoghi Effendi have all written about Jesus the Christ. All confess to Jesus and His revelation - From Baha’u’llah **“Know thou that when the Son of Man yielded up His breath to God, the whole of Creation wept with a great weeping. By sacrificing Himself, however, a fresh capacity was infused into all created things. Its evidences, as witnessed in all the peoples of the earth, are now manifest before thee. The deepest wisdom which the sages have uttered, the profoundest learning which any mind hath unfolded, the arts which the ablest hands have produced, the influence exerted by the most potent of rulers, are but manifestations of the quickening power released by His transcendent, His all-pervasive, and resplendent spirit . . . He it is who purified the world. Blessed the man who, with a face beaming with light, hath turned towards Him”. **(Baha’u’llah Gleanings 86)

“It is also recorded in the Gospel according to St. Luke, that on a certain day Jesus passed by a Jew who was sick of the palsy, and lay upon a couch. When the Jew saw Him, he recognized Him, and cried out for His help. Jesus said unto him: “Arise from thy bed; thy sins are forgiven thee.” Certain of the Jews, standing by, protested saying: “Who can forgive sins, but God alone?” And immediately He perceived their thoughts, Jesus answering said unto them: “Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, arise, and take up thy bed, and walk; or to say, thy sins are forgiven thee? that ye may know that the Son of Man hath power on earth to forgive sins.” This is the real sovereignty, and such is the power of God’s chosen Ones! All these things which We have repeatedly mentioned, and the details which We have cited from divers sources, have no other purpose but to enable thee to grasp the meaning of the allusions in the utterances of the chosen Ones of God, lest certain of these utterances cause thy feet to falter and thy heart to be dismayed”. - Baha’u’llah (‘The Book of Certitude’)

The last passage also requires One to Overcome and see the Message within the Messenger as Jesus said "We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us:. That is one must Listen to Christ, One must Listen to Muhammad, One must listen to the Bab and Baha’u’llah, Otherwise we listen from what is of this world and until we listen to them we will not see the “Spirit of Truth”.

The connection from the Bible to the Koran and then Baha’i Writings do need to be studied. May we all Love Jesus the Christ with all our heart and all Soul 👍

In the Flesh of God? In other words God in the Flesh? Honored, is as far as it goes. Glorified is another thing all together. Glory of God (fully God)? Jesus Glorified? Authority over all people?

That’s not the New Testament understanding of it by the Church that made it a Scripture There is no connection Tony, from outside of the Church. But there is plenty of room in the Church for everyone. 🙂

This is adding words to the Word of God.

Where exactly in 1John does it say “the flesh of God”?

Does the phrase “flesh of God” appear ANYWHERE in the Bible?

It’s clear to me that the Quran is testifying that Christ is from God.

1 John 4: 10 - This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

Same old tired debates again. So I don’t recall my question to the Baha’i being answered., did Jesus die on the cross or not? This was asked a few months ago.

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Yes, Jesus physically died on the Cross, but Jesus’ Reality was alive before birth, never died on the Cross and continues to live today 🙂

I don’t think the Apostles would have ever dreamed of using the word “consubstantial”

Does Sacred Tradition dictate that this word came from the Apostles?

.
I don’t think the Apostles would have ever dreamed that Jesus was…Abraham, Krishna, Zoroaster, Moses, and Buddha.
