How do you call someone a patriot who once voted communist?

I don’t trust anyone from the Obama years.

Early life

He received a B.A. in political science from Fordham University from in 1977.[3] He then attended the University of Texas at Austin, receiving a Master of Arts in government with a concentration in Middle East studies in 1980.[5] He speaks Arabic fluently.[9] His studies included a junior year abroad learning Arabic and taking courses at the the American University in Cairo [3][5]

While riding a bus to class at Fordham, he saw an ad in The New York Times that said the CIA was recruiting. He decided that a CIA career would be a good match for his “wanderlust” and his desire for public service.[5] During his application to the CIA he admitted in a lie-detector test that he had voted for the U.S. Communist Party candidate for president, Gus Hall, in 1976. He explained to the interviewer that his vote was a way of “signaling my unhappiness with the system,” and he later described his vote as a protest against partisanship of the Watergate the era.[19] He emphasized after leaving office that his entry into the CIA showed that freedom of speech in the U.S. does not disqualify a person for a career in government.[20]

Brennan was in college when he voted for a communist. When I was in college, I went to a Students for a Democratic Society meeting where they shared the details of their recent trip to Cuba - which had only a few years earlier hosted Soviet Missles. As it turned out, SDS members were neither promoting Democratic Society nor were they all students. Is that a blot on my patriotism? I don’t think so.

When I was in college, I actually thought libertarianism made sense.

Trump is a narcissist. He cannot take criticism. Anyone who criticises him is considered an enemy. He has a list of such people he wants to punish.
He is simply making himself and the USA a laughing stock.

He also said there were fine people among the fascistic Antifa and racist BLM and KKK. I disagree with that. I think they’re all Un American.

The choice between Trump and Clinton was indeed a despicable choice. That I found myself having to vote for Trump tells you how abominable his opponent was.

John Brennan the “patriot” spied on debate foreign intelligence committee staffers. That’s a funny way of looking at patriotism. No wonder many Clinton supporters consider using the Clinton/Russian dossier as an excuse for the Obama administration to spy on a political campaign is just fine.

Utter nonsense. Tell me how much has been cut from Medicaid! ACA continues to undermine availability to reasonably priced healthcare, it also interfered with the right of individuals to opt out. The individual mandate is tyranny, but coming from Obama, who lied over and over about it, not surprising.

Brennan is diabolical. He spied on Americans. He failed, or more likely chose not to prevent Russian meddling in the 2016 election, and has made a career of lying to the American people

Instead of retiring to the position of eminence gris which is traditional among people of like history, Brennan has turned himself into a name-caller and a political sneak thief. He knows full well that Trump did not commit “treason”, but he said it anyway. He was the sneak who got the Russian “dossier” to the FBI. He’s the one who spied on congressmen and women and their staffs and then lied about it under oath. He lied about civilian casualties in the drone program.

Too bad. He could have been a man of dignity. Now he’s just a poor imitation of a political hack.
 
His vote for a communist candidate “signaled his unhappiness with the system”. That is why he was such a good fit with the Obama Administration.
Kind of scary he was Director of the CIA.

Omarosa’s background looks good on paper too and look how unhinged she is.
