I’m good, thank you. We’re having a rough patch right now but it’s all been turned over to Jesus’s hands where it belongs. My problems are so insignificant compared to the hell you are living, though.
**Oh my friend - we are all broken in this life in one way or another.

Praying for you and yours … peace this week my friend, is my prayer and wish for you.

Hugs, Love,

McKayla’s Mommy**

**Hi Ame:

**

I am new to this site and just visited your daughter’s memorial site. I want you know that as a young mother of two little boys, your daughter’s death has led me to new knowledge tonight.

**If KK’s death can save even one person (which I am aware that it has already) I thank God for that … although in all my selfishness, I would want her back in an instant.

**

I read the symptoms she had and I had no idea that neck pain could be a sign of heart problems. Because of your daughter’s life and your courage to post here, I feel informed. I know it’s been two years, but I will pray for you tonight as if it just happened.

**The pain is still as bad as the first moment of the horrible news. I miss my baby girl something aweful. I miss her with every breathe that I take … She is never out of my mind … **

Thanks for making others aware by sharing your story.
**Thank you for the prayers … give those two boys an extra hug from KK’s mommy.

Peace,

Moe**

Moe, everyday, you’re in my prayers…and your daughter. I still ache when I think about what happened. 😦 I hope that you have a blessed new year, and just wanted you to know, you’re thought of so much!

**I can feel your prayers. Thank you for taking time everyday to pray for us. The emptiness is deafening …and the pain is great …

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Blessings,

Moe,
Well, it’s a new year. I’m hoping things are calming down somewhat. I still pray for you - haven’t forgotten the pain you’re still going through and your family. I don’t know what to say other than you’re a wonderful friend and mother/wife. You are always in my thoughts and prayers!

Much love and tons of hugs, (I’d hug you in person if I could)

Judi

**Hi Judi:

Life is calm … but the pain and feeling of great loss still permeates the air we breathe! We are finding moments - moments of peace here and there … but the turmoil always rears it’s ugly head 😦

One of my favorite quotes is by CS Lewis … and it was a quote he wrote about the death of his wife:

Her absence is like the sky - spread over everything …

I think it is perfect for what we feel even today – almost two years that I last held my baby girl.

Keep the prayers coming … we desperately need them. Your life really is all uprooted when a death strikes you tragically like this did.

I would take a hug in person … Love and hugs and prayers to you my friend.

Loving you from NH - Moe**

Hello Moe!
How are you, Greg and Amanda? you are all still in my prayers every day. I may not post often but I do not forget you!

Same here, I’ve been gone a lot lately and most likely will be again soon but…I remember you and your family when we pray our daily Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
We usually say our intentions aloud before praying the Rosary and my husband has a failing memory so whenever I say…“and for Maureen’s intentions”, he always says…“who’s Maureen”?😃
I’ve only had to tell him a million times but…I’ll just keep reminding him, 😛
I won’t forget you!!

**We are still taking it one day at a time. I am seeing a therapist though - I had to - I hit rock bottom two Thursday ago and I needed to do this. I want to do more than Just Survive … the sadness and pain is everso great.

Greg just got a big promotion - he is doing very well … being busy helps him deal with this; Amanda again received highest honors … throwing herself into school work - soon she will have her license. Time waits for no one does it. I am still lost … but finding peace from time to time during the day - which is so much more than almost two years ago Mar 19, 2007.

Keep the prayers going my friend. I still love hearing from you all … let me know what is happening with you and if prayers are needed. I always pray for my CAFamily!

Hugs,**

**Nor I you …

Thanks so much for the intentions - your love and prayers are clearly working … for how could they not?

I love you for keeping me in prayer and ask - albeit selfishly, to continue. Few more weeks will make 2 years.

Are you well? Let me know what is going on.

Love and hugs from NH,

Love Forever McKayla’s Mom**

I will join you in a Novena to St. Joseph. :gopray2: well Joe is waking up from his nap so I will go and give him a big hug from you and tell him we have to go and pray to St Joseph for the family of a beautiful little girl who is a saint in heaven with his aunt and uncles.

Sometimes it is good to get some outside help, perhaps writing your book brought up a lot of pain that you have to deal with.

When we don’t deal properly with the pain at the time that it happens, we still have to deal with it eventually. I will pray that God sends you ministering angels to help you get through this time. I know your daughter wouldn’t want all this pain for you, she must be praying constantly for your well being. You are loved so much by so many, just as she is. You must have been so much alike, your love is still felt by her, I am sure. Love never dies.

What first drew me to you was the loss of your child in March, mine died in the womb, March of 1978, at that time, no one much really acted like I had even lost a child, even the Doctor acted like it was no big deal, it seemed that the only two people on the planet it even affected was myself and my husband. Even my husband, while very caring towards me, didn’t grieve the way I was, it felt like no one wanted me to grieve his passing, everyone just wanted me to be alright again, and I was never the same. I finally feel at peace with it all.

We just celebrated the birth of our 9th grandchild, (their first child, our ninth grandchild), he is an awesome gift, one that was prayed for for over 6 years to make it here. He is truly loved and wanted and has made his parents the happiest people on this earth. They are just estatic, they had never prevented children in any way, shape or form, and had always wanted as many as the good Lord would give them and so his birth truly showed us all how miraclous the gift of life is. Her pregancy was so tramatic, and even his birth, they almost lost him so many times during her pregancy and then again while he was being delivered.

My son is probably one of the most pro-life people on the planet, one with faith that can move mountains and he just keeps on with his rock solid love of God through it all. He called me right before my grandson was born telling me that the Doctor said, “within the hour”. Then he called right after he was born, just about an hour later, he was crying and laughing all at the same time, telling me how perfertly formed he was and how much he looked like both of them and how they almost lost him and how wonderfully well his wife was doing now that she was able to hold him in her arms and see his tiny face. It all came out in a flood of tears and joy. Never once did he sound like any of this was all about him, his love for his wife and son just shone through it all. God is so good. It gave me great hope.

I am sure your husband and other daughter must feel the same way, they just want you to be alright, they want their wife and mother to be as she was before, and I am sure that you are feeling like it will never be the same again. It won’t, but it will be alright again one day, eventually.

I believe that when we laugh with, cry with and thank God with others it is a very healing gift. Our grief is something that we need to let happen in order to heal properly. You sound like you are taking time with it and I think that is good. Once you are beginning to feel at peace with this you will be incredibly well and probably will be able to help so many others. Don’t try to rush it, just let it be.

I never got to hold the little one I lost, my arms still ache to at times, I know how much your arms ache too, just for one more hug, one more smile, one more time to see her smiling face, one more time you can hear her laughter, one more…DON’T put yourself through that! I think that makes us almost crazy, the why’s that may never be answered in this life time. Just know that God is in control and all is as it should be even when we don’t understand it all.

The good Lord will hold her for you until you meet again, she is still alive, you just can’t see her right now is all. As much as we wanted them here with us, He wanted them even more with Him.

I sure don’t have any answers, I just know that we have to keep going forward trusting in the good Lord that He knows what He is doing, because I sure don’t know how to make any sense of it. Sometimes it seems that it is just something that we are suppose to learn some incredible knowledge from and I am just too dense to get it. Perhaps for me it is just that holding this newest little grandson helps the healing to take place and gives me incredible hope that all is well.

I will pray that our good Lord will give you what you need, that all that you face will be a help to you, that you will be at peace on the 2nd anniversary of her death and that you will feel her presence with you still, in a loving and kind and gentle way that will help you to heal. I still think that its incredible that she died on the feast day of St. Joseph, I had such a devotion to him as a teenager and never told a soul and I bet your daughter did too and just kept it to herself as well. I will ask St. Joseph’s and the Blessed Mother’s intercession for you to help you through this most difficult time.

I’ll leave you with this: My parents were born in Ireland and my father’s favorite saying was … until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Especially remembering you and your family today, Moe. May God be with you.

Prayers for you and your family today, Moe. I have a nasty cold right now and am offering up my misery for you. May God comfort you and shower you with His love today. :gopray:

**THANK YOU SO MUCH — Our Pastor Fr. Don said a beautiful Mass for our KK … many of her friends and families came … my heart ached for her friends – many of them were sobbing.

JUST GORGEOUS MY FRIEND … WHAT A BLESSING TO YOU … **

Sometimes it is good to get some outside help, perhaps writing your book brought up a lot of pain that you have to deal with.

I haven’t written too much - so I don’t think it is that … but I have enjoyed Carol and she has been a wonderful listener!

When we don’t deal properly with the pain at the time that it happens, we still have to deal with it eventually. I will pray that God sends you ministering angels to help you get through this time. …

We were alike - but she was so much better than I - perhaps the reason God took her. At Mass in her honor today - Fr. spoke of McKayla and how special she was and how she shared her talents with everyone … She was perfection - if it is possible to be - she was close to it. The pain I feel is that I loved her so much!

What first drew me to you was the loss of your child in March, mine died in the womb, March of 1978, at that time, no one much really acted like I had even lost a child, even the Doctor acted like it was no big deal, …

Yes, I lost three babies in-utero myself and I thought that was the cross I would bear for the rest of my life and perhaps alone … because no-one knows what it is like to have a life growing inside of you … unless you have … it gives me some consolation that KK is with her siblings . She knows them even before Daddy and I do!

We just celebrated the birth of our 9th grandchild, (their first child, our ninth grandchild), he is an awesome gift, one that was prayed for for over 6 years to make it here. He is truly loved and wanted and has made his parents the happiest people on this earth. They are just estatic, they had never prevented children in any way, shape or form, and had always wanted as many as the good Lord would …

**So glad he arrived safe and sound - how good is God. **

He called me right before my grandson was born telling me that the Doctor said, “within the hour”. Then he called right after he was born, just about an hour later, he was crying and laughing all at the same time, telling me how perfertly formed he was and how much he looked like both of them …

Hope - it is a wonderful - life line. I do not know where i would be without my faith … I shudder to think to be honest. Your family sounds wonderful - you did an amazing job!!!

I am sure your husband and other daughter must feel the same way, they just want you to be alright, they want their wife and …

That is what is other’s who have walked this walk have promised … but we are still raw from her loss … although - this year - we have found moments of peace … Christmas was terribly hard … the second year definately, for us - the worst!

I believe that when we laugh with, cry with and thank God with others it is a very healing gift. Our grief is something that we need to let happen in order to heal properly. You sound like you are taking time with it and I think …

I like to think i have helped other’s and they have told me that – but I want to do more. Everyday I ask God - what is it that you would like me to do with this pain … what? He han’t answered yet!

I never got to hold the little one I lost, my arms still ache to at times, I know how much your arms ache too, just for one more hug, one more smile, one more time to see her smiling face, one more time you can hear…

Just one more … yes … Just one more …

The good Lord will hold her for you until you meet again, she is still alive, you just can’t see her right now is all. As much as we wanted them here with us, He wanted them even more with Him.

Yes, and I DO accept that … I really do - I just miss her - still aching for her!

I sure don’t have any answers, I just know that we have to keep going forward trusting in the good Lord that He knows what He is doing, because I sure don’t know how to make any sense of it. Sometimes it …

Yes, I believe you are right … I definately know you are rigth! Next time you hug him, think of my KK … she was an exquisit child!

I will pray that our good Lord will give you what you need, that all that you face will be a help to you, that you will be at peace on the 2nd anniversary of her death and that you will feel her presence with you still, …

My Brother In-Law is also devoted to St. Joseph - and when she Died on Mar 19 - a couple of months later he told me that St. Joseph is the Patron Saint of a Happy Death (well one role he plays) … I pray it was for I think often what happened on the mountain; was she afraid; did she know she was dying … all things that a mom should never have to worry about or think about.

I’ll leave you with this: My parents were born in Ireland and my father’s favorite saying was … until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
**Love that quote - thank you and perhaps one day == we shall meet …

Thanks so much for caring … life is so difficult - and then there are angels like you oxoxo**
