Me too maggieodae, God bless you as you bless all of us so much, your writings are amazing and show such great strength and love of God. We watched St. Rita’s life on EWTN and people such as you and Moe and St. Rita show us how to endure through such painful sufferings, thank you both for your true love and faith in God.

**I want her to be in my arms … so I am no hero my friend … I just want to see her again … I want to be with my KK … and I have to make sure I don’t mess up!

If not for my faith and friends like you at CAF… I shudder to think where I would be …

Loving you xoxoxo

Moe,

I will begin earnestly praying for your husband. It sounds like he is having a difficult time. Just all of you stay together. That’s the most important thing. Prayers coming!

Much love,

Wow, that run looked so exciting and awesome, thanks for the link, I love going there sometimes and just reading and re-reading on there. You ought to start sharing more of her life with us. KK does indeed sound like one special child, maybe you could compile stories that people shared with you about her, like interview her friends, teachers, you know, those outside the family and get their perspective of her, like the guy you mentioned earlier that she alone was kind to. I just love hearing about her. I’ve read all that the family and her close friend posted but someone like her, such a kind person, I don’t know, I just want to hear more about her, maybe you could add stories to that site as you remember them, such as the one that one of her teachers shared with you, and personal stories from your family. Memories that only you would have, KWIM?? Like the one you shared earlier, about how sad she was that one week-end, I don’t know, just my thoughts, funny, cute, enduring, sad, just compile them all in one place on that site. I feel a lot of comfort when I visit that site. Thanks for sharing all that you have with us.

We raised quite a bit of money - that we will be putting back into the Mont Vernon Community - one major upkeep will be finishing the Mont Vernon Ball Field in memory of our KK>

**Yes, I am planning on putting things that her friends / class mates shared with me - drawings, poems, school papers about her. There is so much – so much I want to do. She was and is precious … I still can’t believe that she is gone - and how lonely I am , we all are without her.

My husband still continues to be very angry at God … he can’t understand if He is such a loving Father … how could he take her from us - knowing how incomplete we would be without her … please continually keep him close in prayer.

Hoping for Peace - all who stop by and visit her … if you do stop - don’t be shy and leave a little love note!

Loving you - Moe

MGEISING:
I do so often think of him while at Adoration and during Holy Communion, I even remember to pray about your special intention daily when I pray the Holy Rosary and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy (I have a grandson who is a teenager and he has asked me to remember his intensions in my daily Rosary also so you and him are always remembered), along with quite a few others, lol, but you two most often come to mind first.
I ask God to give you peace so often and many times while at prayer I get a sense of peace for your family, especially the times when I am asking KK to pray for you and the Blessed Mother and of course Jesus, I will ask the Holy Spirit to decend upon yuor husband and bring him peace that surpasses all understanding.
Whenever I am at KK’s site on your virtual link, at her gravesite, I often get a sense of peace while saying a prayer there too, does your husband visit her gravesite much? Perhaps that peace would surround him there too, but I do know that the men that I know often have much more of a difficult time at the grave. Perhaps yours does too. May God bless you and your whole family, I think its wonderful how you are giving back to your community, its probably all the work that KK would have wanted done, being done through all of you on her behalf. God does indeed work in mysterious ways. Peace be with you.

**Your kindness is overwhelming … how special you are to me Allhers. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you keeping us in prayer … especially during the Rosary and most especially during adoration.

How is it that I am so lucky to be able to have people like you and all my new friends from CAF. I thank God many times for the amazing people that keep me in prayer … even ones I don’t know are doing it. Life is so hard, I couldn’t imagine going through this without my faith! Without my CATHOLIC faith.**

**Well, I think it is indeed working. Although our days are hard and the agony of missing her is intense … peace does creep in, in if it is only for a few moments … at least I feel it.

Greg seems not to be in such torture … although I am sure it is indeed all the prayers. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE IT UP … we have a long way to go … although we will never be whole again, we need to be at least functioning … better than we are … although much better than a year ago - so GOD IS GOOD.**

Greg visits her once or twice a week. Usually on Friday on the way home from work. And always on Sunday … we go as a family after Mass. He also takes care of her place by himself, cut grass, re-seed, etc. He wants McKayla’s place to be perfect.

Perhaps that peace would surround him there too, but I do know that the men that I know often have much more of a difficult time at the grave. Perhaps yours does too.

I can’t start my day without visiting her … I go once or twice a day … I still can’t believe that it is her name on her monument … it should be mine … not hers.

May God bless you and your whole family, I think its wonderful how you are giving back to your community, its probably all the work that KK would have wanted done, being done through all of you on her behalf. God does indeed work in mysterious ways.

**YES, HE DOES -doesn’t he.

Have a wonderful SUnday and again - THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU DO IN PRAYER FOR MY FAMILY … Loving you, Me**

Peace be with you.

I’m just wondering, do you think it would help your husband at all to go to R.C.I.A. to get a different perspective on how you view her death and how he currently does? Perhaps if your Pastor talked with you both and gave him some advice or something? It just seems that he doesn’t have all that you have and that you are better equipped to deal with this. I know that there are moments where it is still very difficult, if not almost impossible to deal with even for those of us who do have great faith. (I would never give up praying for someone, don’t worry about that.):signofcross:

Moe,

I’m sorry I havent written in a while. I think of you SO OFTEN, and just dont write when I’m thinking so now I am 🙂

I cant even TELL YOU how often I think of you, and pray for you, and sit in complete sorrow and sometimes thankfulness, and a thousand other emotions about God just thinking of you and what you have gone through.

Remember that no matter what happens, I will ALWAYS be praying for you for forever. I’m so glad that you have had moments of peace. That comforts me to know that.

I have more to tell you but I will private message you 🙂

** Well - he was going to look into becoming Catholic before McKayla died. He is so different from his family who are Fundamental Baptists and everything is about Jesus … even their acceptance to KK’s death - because she is with him.

I know where she is - but that doesn’t take away the ache that is ever constant.

Greg still is coming to church with us though - and ALWAYS goes up for a blessing if our Pastor is the one giving the blessing.

We will be seeing our Pastor soon - having dinner together. Perhaps I can draw a conversation to go that way.

Tomorrow night is McKayla’s AMS 2008 Class graduation. Amanda will be accepting an honorary (spelling) degree for KK … it is going to be a sad day - seeing all those wonderful kids crossing the stage … oh how are hearts will ache … but we so appreciate the school doing this … GOD IS GOOD.

Please keep us in your prayers …and as always, I am foever grateful.

Missing Graduate
Emma V. / TCF Valley Forge

Parents’ happy faces all around me, with a glow from within, Pomp and Circumstance is playing, now the program will begin.

The graduates are lined up, they are coming down the aisle, some have serious faces, yet some have a little smile. I look down the aisle, hoping for your face to come into sight, this is your class, it was to be your graduation night.

All the graduates pass by, but none of them are you. A tug of my heart tells me, you are not here — your death is true. God called you home…I wanted you here in such a bad way. Looking into your classmates’ faces, do they recall you, missing this day?

Memories, sweet memories, now fill my mind and heart. There will be no golden tassel, this day for my sweetheart. The class is Oh! So happy, this isn’t the time to be blue, now I must shake a hand, and get a hug or two.**

Moe,

Oh my word, not to worry my friend - the world doesn’t revolve around me and my pain … thank you for thinking and praying for us - it is what sustains us.

I cant even TELL YOU how often I think of you, and pray for you, and sit in complete sorrow and sometimes thankfulness, and a thousand other emotions about God just thinking of you and what you have gone through.

We are going through what no parents should ever have to endure … it will always be … until we ourselves reach the end of our journey — I miss her - I ache for her - I still cry terribly for her … thankfully my faith is my life preserver – because I would have drowned by now 😦

Remember that no matter what happens, I will ALWAYS be praying for you for forever. I’m so glad that you have had moments of peace. That comforts me to know that.

**Yes, I am so blessed to have you as a prayer warrior. Peace does come - if but for a moment of two or even three now … but like my friend once wrote … **

For me, feeling some hope and joy about life has been a very recent event, so even those of us touched by the loss of your daughter are only beginning to come to grips with how to take those tiny steps forward. My sense of hope lasted for only a brief moment. I visualize the sorrow waiting patiently in the corner. The sorrow was not jealous, as it knew it would again have center stage. The sorrow was confident as it knew it had found a permanent home and would be my life-long companion. But it did step aside and release its grip if for only a moment and I was grateful.

I have more to tell you but I will private message you 🙂

**I shall look forward to seeing a PM from you my friend. I pray that you are well and taking very good care of yourself.

Huggles … **

Praying for you and your family Moe. :crossrc: :hug1:
**Thank you little mommy - how are you feeling? Praying all things are well and everyone is fine and healthy.

Thanks so much for the prayers … Hugs and kisses - Moe**

I will be keeping you all in prayer. I know Amanda will do a great job, just from the way you have described her on here. You and Greg will most especially be in my prayers. (and all of her classmates, teachers, etc…)…with each sorrow, at least a little more of the pain is able to be let out.

It’s another very rough pregnancy, but I know it’s worth it.

My heart breaks for you, praying still…:crossrc: :hug1:

Both my girls pregnancies where ruff … I was high risk the whole time and lost two with Amanda and one with McKayla … so nevertheless - it was stressfull.

May our Mother Mary wrap her mantle around you … hugs

**Thanks so much Allhers.

We just heard from the Principal. They are going to do a separate presentation on McKayla and then ask Amanda to come and get her diploma … they are also giving the McKayla Geisinger Jazz Band award at graduation - usually they do all awards in the morning.

The criteria used in selecting the McKayla Geisinger Jazz Band award this year and last, we chose students who demonstrated good musicianship who had made a positive impact on the program in a quiet way (without being flashy or calling undue attention to themselves.). Her teachers thought those traits would exemplify McKayla’s character.

I just got back from putting balloons on at McKayla’s place. My heart is breaking all over again … and I feel so abandoned right now … so I must start praying so these thoughts move away from me … how much can our hearts take?

Prayers would be greatly appreciated. Love and hugs to you all.

Moe, McKayla’s Mom xoxoxox

I would imagine that with each “celebration” of her life, some pain comes along with that. How did it go? Keeping you in prayer.
:hug3:

Praying for you during this time, Moe, and always. I’m sure she loved the balloons. 🙂 I’m SURE of it 🙂

These milestones will be hard, especially since such large ones are happening so quickly and close. But, I’m sure she is very proud of you, as well. Please know that you are in so many peoples thoughts and prayers, as always Moe. Let us know how it went…
